We went with Whirlpool because everything else in the house we just bought is the same brand. It cleans the dishes just fine. Very quiet. I don't really like the silverware basket. We had a Bosch in our old house that I liked a bit better...but this one isn't bad

Love this dishwasher. We selected the model with the 3rd shelf in the top for silverware. Holds much more than previous model; super quiet. Has wine glass stabilizer, something we use. We purchased the whole suite of appliances in Sunset Bronze -- I may like the dishwasher best.
