  • Features
    • Hard Food Disposer: false (This feature has blades to chop and disintegrate hard food particles, making them small enough to easily drain away. This prevents them from being recirculated back onto dishware and allows for easy maintenance.)
    • Drying Method: Heated drying (Appliances that use heat to dry the dishes will include a heating element or minerals which transform moisture into heat. A fan or vent then circulates the hot dry air throughout the tub during the drying cycle. This may reduce drying time and the risk of water spots. Appliances that use minerals to produce heat are considered more energy efficient than those that include a heating element. Appliances that use condensation drying are considered more energy efficient than those that use heated drying. Instead, high temperature water is produced during the final rinse cycle which warms the interior and eventually condensates and drains out of the machine.)

Q: How many minutes is the Normal cycle?

A: There is no normal or specific run time, it depends on how dirty the dishes are. There is a sensor that monitors the drain water and it will move to the dry cycle once the sensor detects that the drain water is clean- free of food particles.

Q: What’s the difference between this model and the WDTA50SAKZ??

A: Hello CMS. Model WDTA50SAKZ has a vent dry option with a heating element while model WDT750SAKZ has a recessed heating element. Model WDT750SAKZ also has a towel bar and model WDTA50SAKZ does not. We hope this helps!

Q: Is the WDT750SAKZ made in USA?

A: Hello Dirka. This Whirlpool® Dishwasher is made in the United States.

Q: This unit states 26 3/4” deep. How is that possible when the standard cabinet is 24” deep. Does that mean it is not mountable unless you have extra deep cabinets? I do not want the sides (other than door) sticking out.

A: Hello Pickering, the dimensions of this model are Depth Closed Excluding Handles 24 1/2", and Depth Closed Including Handles 26 1/2". We hope this helps.

Q: Does this dishwasher have heated drying?

A: Yes, thank God. The dish washers that have the door pop open and then air dry are useless.

Q: Can the utensil basket be moved to the door? Other Whirlpools can, but I do not see the option for this one? If not, can you direct me to a model that is similar to this one, but that has the utensil holder option in the door?

A: Gretch 25, model WDT750SAKZ silverware basket can only be placed on the bottom rack. Model WDT970SAHZ is similar to the model WDT750SAKZ and does come with the AnyWare™ Basket so it can be placed on the door or on the bottom rack. We hope this helps!

Q: Does this dishwasher require pods, liquid or powder?

A: My dishwaster was installed today. It uses pods.

    Great dishwasher!

I picked this dishwasher because it came with good reviews from consumer reports, and it was at a good price point. I went into the store to purchase and salesman was very good. It was a quick process. Delivery and install went great. I was given instructions on how to use it. I have been using the regular cycle for about a month now, but it is three hours long. it does have a quick wash but I have not tried that yet. It’s a very nice solid dishwasher. Racks slide out smoothly. I like the top rack for silverware. The dishes come out very clean!

    Very quiet and versatile

This is an excellent dishwasher! The first two times I ran it, I had to keep checking if it was running or not, that is how quiet this unit is. Everything so far has come out very clean and dry, including heavily soiled items. I have never run any cycle other than "normal with extended dry (no heat)". While I didn't think having a third rack was a big deal, it has turned out very well for washing all sort of utensils and plastic lids. The only criticism I have is that the cycle time is very long but since I run it overnight most of the time, this is not an issue for us. I would definitely recommend this unit.

    Whisper quiet & cleans well

I bought this to replace another Whirlpool model that was in place for about 15 years. I like the interior being completely stainless steel. My wife really likes the third top rack for utensils and other small items. We haven’t used the utensils basket at all which leaves more room in the bottom rack. The adjustable middle rack is a nice feature as well. What we like most about it is the dishes come out really clean and it’s incredibly quiet. I have to look for the little blue light to see if it’s actually on. It’s been in use for about a month and so far, so good. The average cycle is about 3 to 3 1/2 hours which seems long but as I said before the dishes come out sparkly clean so no complaints.
