Customers are pleased with the Cabrio 4.8 Cu. Ft. 26-Cycle High-Efficiency Steam Top-Loading Washer's large capacity, excellent cleaning performance, and quiet operation. Many appreciate its ease of use and the added benefit of the steam feature. While some noted that the spin cycle could be improved and expressed preference for an agitator-less design, the positive feedback on other aspects outweighs these concerns. The price point also receives favorable comments.
Quiet washing machine. Large capacity. Easy to use

I bought this and the matching 7.0 cu.ft. dryer and they are fantastic. This washer gets my clothes cleaner, it has so many different options for different types of materials being washed. The cycles are always decently quick and so far it is very efficient with energy and water from what I have seen on my recent bills. It's spin cycle is quiet yet super quick, it will wring most clothes to a dry or slightly damp feeling when done, making drying times much quicker. It is even fascinating to watch. For my first washer purchase, I am 100% satisfied and very happy I chose this one to go with. I feel it will last a long time with the right care but I have only had it less than 2 months so I can't speak on longevity, which is why it is getting a 4 star

If I could give this any less than 1 star I would. I always loved Whirlpool, in fact, the washing machine I had previous to purchasing this one was a Whirlpool and I had many good years with that machine before it finally gave out after 20+ years. The cost of repair was not worth it. I can't say how disappointed I am with this purchase. Every time I wash clothes particularly dark items, mostly black, I need to rewash them sometimes more than once because there are patches of soap that don't rinse out. Clothing comes out twisted in knots, leaving the patches of white soap all over the clothing. I have followed directions, laying each item flat, not over filling the tub, using pretty much a dime size amount of soap, etc. and still I get these white patches of soap so visible on the clothing that it looks as though there is mold growing on the clothing. I use such a small amount of soap, that the clothing doesn't really even smell clean and I wonder if they even are. I realize that these new machines are supposed to be water conserving machines but in the end I use a great deal more water rewashing these items to make them wearable. I miss my old washing machine with an agitator and a full tub of water.
