I purchased this product a few moths ago for my cigars and my wife's wine. It did take some time to season the humidor. For me it took around 5 days to get the right RH. I would highly recommend that you purchase a digital hygrometer. The two that came with the humidor were inaccurate and unable to be calibrated. One I was able to calibrate to within a 5% and the other was way off. I did leave one in just for aesthetic purposes for the drawer so I wouldn't have an empty hole. The only issue I had is one of the drawers came damaged. I called Whynter and sent them pics and they sent a replacement within a few days. Overall I am pleased with my purchase and would recommend this product to others.

My Christmas came early this year. I guess it's not hard to guess my soft spots, good wine and good cigars. This is the perfect hub for my collection. I'm impressed by the quality of the cigar half. Good quality spanish cedar that smell right. It's working like a dream. Thanks again.

I had the product for 3 weeks before one side stopped working. It was in a well ventilated area of the house, house thermostat never above 75, and the left side just stopped one day. Read reviews of other Whynter products after trying to find a solution to the problem, many review of other products refer to high rate of products just stopping to work. Horror stories of having to ship the product to California on your own dime to have them look at it as there is no in home service. Returned to Best Buy.
