I bought a Windows 8 laptop, couldn't stand it. Had to wipe it and install Windows 7 ultimate, had to find a few drivers ( Acer wouldn't help ) but much happier now. I recommend buying 1 or 2 licenses while it can still be found.

This operating system performers better than home and professional, the reason why I say this is because Vista, XP, and later version programs would not run with Windows 7 home or professional but do run with this version.
