A: The 38mm watch's crystal is also domed. I added a protective "screen-saver" that has cut down on the amount of glare.
Q: When approved by FDA will this watch be able to take an ekg test and show results?
A: Withings ScanWatch will feature ECG and sleep apnea detection. ... The user can then take an ECG reading using the three built-in electrodes, located on the side of the watch's bezel. The real-time reading and results are viewable in the Withings Health Mate app.
Q: When will the Withings Scanwatch in black or white 38 mm that is sold out be available.
A: It has not been released in the USA yet you can only buy it overseas right now. Waiting on pokey FDA approval.
Q: Does the Scanwatch require a proprietary charger?
A: Yes it does, but it comes with it. Also since you only need to charge it every 20 to 30 days, there is no need to take it with you on trips.
Q: Can change different watch band??
A: Yes, you can buy from withings website or buy off brand ones from Amazon for cheap
Q: Does it require a subscription to use all of the functions?
A: I use all the functions, and don't pay for a subscription
A: It analyzes the ECG you just took and can come back with a classification, which includes "signs of afib". It doesn't scan continuously.
