I had high hopes for this game. And I’m glad they were fulfilled. It’s semi linear but feels open world in the way that you can chose your style and path.
The graphics on the one x on my 77” oled tv are absolutely stunning. It’s a smooth 60fps. Lighting and ambient occlusion are spot on.
The voice acting is what makes this game shine. It make you feel like you are part of the story. It’s interesting and engaging.
Over all if you are into story driven FPS campaign games this is one you shouldn’t pass up.
I’ll admit, I’m a Bethesda nerd. Specifically because of Doom. As I have literally played and won every single Doom. So I saw this, and figured since it is made by the same guys and give I’d give it a shot. No, it’s not Doom good. But it’s still a lot of fun. reminds me a lot of Rage. If you played that. Really good graphics and a pretty good storyline. Don’t want to ruin the fun, but when you get a chance to stomp You know who in the head, do it!! You will be rewarded.
In an era where most new games that come out revolve around multiplayer, Wolfenstein 2 is a breath of fresh air. I personally never played the first Wolfenstein (since the reboot) but that did not stop me from throughly enjoying this game. Bethesda took great care in crafting the story, characters, and environments in which you explore in this game. The cut scenes in this game are some of the best that I have ever seen for developing characters and telling a fun story in a very fun way. My father, who has never played a video game, was visiting while I played this game and was so emersed in the story with me that upon returning home he called me to get an update on the story!
