Customers often highlight the realistic graphics and engaging story as major strengths of Wolfenstein: The New Order. Many also praise the enjoyable gameplay and immersive experience, though some found the difficulty challenging. A small number of users mentioned long loading times as a drawback.
Greatly anticipated this game as I have played all the Wolfenstein from its inception on day one for the PC. OK, here I go as no one else has reported about the very long installation. First off, I initially could not install this game for a few days as I did not have the required 8 GB on my hard drive. I have a Halo edition Xbox 360 with a 12 GB hard drive, half of which was full from the installation of Grand Theft Auto 5. Even after deleting some files there was still not enough room. So after a couple frustrating days more of wait, I had to purchase a 32 GB Flash drive from Radio Shack for $20. So what I saved in Rewards at Best Buy went into Flash memory. Good thing it offset the cost! So be prepared to have the required memory to play this game! I strongly feel that if these software companies want to require so much storage space they should include the flash drive. Either that or be able to run the game from the 4 cd's that come in the packaging much like LA Noire. No one should have to choose between or sacrifice saved games on the hard drive. My second issue with the game was the extremely long installation. From what I read on the NET installations took an average of 40 minutes! Wow! that is the longest time I ever would have had for a game. I don't know if it was because I was installing to a flash drive or not but my installation took an almost exact 2 hours! That is ridicules! I sat with bated breath watching the progress bar install the game as many posters on the net said it hung up and stopped at 48%. I was so glad when it surpassed that and kept going. So be prepared to set it and forget it for some time. Maybe loading to the hard drive if you have the space will be faster. Load times are tolerable of 30-40 seconds. The game itself is amazing and I have yet to scratch the surface. Enemies are smart and Challenging. New weapons are intuitive and amazing. Puzzles so far aren't terribly hard and entertaining. Graphics are superb despite the 360 getting close to the end of its life with the new game systems out. And the story-line is right where it should be in the saga. There is no multiplayer for online play which may turn some people away. It is and always has been a single player style game. I would highly recommend this game to any FPS game player as this is the genre at its finest. I feel it looks even better than Battlefield 4 or COD Ghosts. And they were great games too! This is a must have FPS to have in your game library!

Tough but fun A great series returns to the 360, with some of the best graphics yet. A good story with nice nods to previous characters, FPS fans will find well structured levels that show just how brainless and "set piece" the COD games have become. A nice change from previous games in no central hub to return to, less backtracking, and steampunk rather than occult elements. FOR sure rental, buy for shooter fans.

I'm a fan of the original Wolfenstein games and this one does not disappoint. Good storyline and graphics/sound are great. Be prepared to wait a good 30 minutes when you first start the game to load additional content onto the hard drive. Also be aware there is no multiplayer for this game.
