X2 Great but Bonus Features lacking
|Posted .No, I would not recommend this to a friendOwn the best of the X-men film franchise with X2: X-Men United. Unfortunately this blu-ray edition does not include most of the bonus features found on the old dvd special editions since it only has disc one with the movie and commentaries. Those looking for lots of behind the scenes content will want to look for a different edition to own. For this reason I've reduced my rating to 3/5.

CLOSE BUT NOT THE BEST.
|Posted .I already own this on blu-ray, but I wanted to add this to my steel box collection. I have all the X-Men movies plus the Wolverine movie's in the steel box packaging from Target with the exception of the most recent one. I was surprised that Best Buy was doing all the X-Men movies reissued in the steel box packaging with the exception of the Wolverine movies. Most fans will say that this is their favorite and the best of the movies. I personally love the "Last Stand" as my favorite but this is definitely one of the best Marvel movies from any studio.

An exciting and amazing film.
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendI think that "X2: X-Men United" was once again one of the greatest X-Men films of all-time and it was also one of my favorite X-Men films of all-time. I have seen and enjoyed this film several times and I also really enjoyed all of the films in the first X-Men trilogy including "X-Men" and "X3: The Last Stand". I also think that "X2: X-Men United" had a lot of entertaining, exciting and enjoyable action, mystery and suspense including really great and amazing personal storylines as well.

Consistently good quality
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendX2 not only is even better than the first installment in the series but also comes with same quality you'd expect from Fox on these films with bright whites at alkali lake and even being able to count the stubble on wolverines chin also if you're lucky you'll get the film with a slipcover and 8$ off ticket for Deadpool 2 my favorite x-men movie

I love X2
|Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed. The movie is the best among the first 3 "old" X-Men movies. I wish they release the movie on 4K/Bluray combo. This is a classic movie with excellent fight scenes that would make an avid X-Men fan cheer for the heroes!

The effects are outdated but the nostalgia is real
|Posted .This came out before the mighty MCU, and you can tell by the look of it. I don't feel the effects aged well, but the nostalgia helps. I'm a huge X-Men fan, so that helps too. I actually prefer these earlier X-Men movies over the First Class set of movies. The steel book art is okay, but could have been better.
