This thing is fast! We recommend this drone for 1 of three cases. 1) Fast Follow Me mode. This drone can track you at up to 60 mph. 2) The VTOL enthusiast. You can fly this like a plane if you get the required skills. 3) Flying by waypoints. At 60 mph and 20 minutes of flight time you can cover a lot of ground if that's your goal. While the user experience and software is not as streamlined as something like a DJI Phantom, it is better than we expected and it allows for a lot of customization. It will take some practice to fly like a pro, but it can be done.

I was very excited to find this "aircraft" (calling it a quadcopter doesn't seem adequate) on a rockin' deal of the day, but after watching additional videos tutorials and reviews, I ultimately returning it for a DJI Phantom 3 4k at the same price as the "deal". I have little doubt this is a really exciting and fast drone, but my concerns arose from the build material (basically styrofoam w/a fancy name), and the lack of a camera. To be fair the X-Plus came with a mount for a Go-Pro, but is quite a bit more DIY than the Phantom. Really wanted to love this as I like the companies story, but ultimately it wasn't right for me. The drone market is in a rapid pace of evolution, X-Craft is trying to evolve too. I wish them well.
