Do not purchase this scanner if you have a Mac. I'll be more specific. Don't buy this if you've got a Mac that you have OS X 10.8.5 or 10.9.3 on. If you have an older Mac and still have OS X 10.7, then get this but if you ever upgrade your OS, you will find the included software, which is what really makes any hardware great, worthless.
