Like many people in 2020/2021, i decided to build my first gaming PC. I won't go into how difficult it is to buy a GPU in this review, as I'm sure everyone already knows. My build specs will be listed at the bottom. Everything was purchased from Best Buy. I will start by saying - I was not happy to pay the price that i did, but that's the climate of GPUs. Simple supply and demand. Higher end cards are going to be a lot more expensive. With that in mind, I'm quite happy with this purchase. I wanted a good placeholder GPU until i could afford the one I planned on using - its the only part that i couldn't readily get. Luckily i was able to snag this off the website. I knew it would handle well, but it's exceeded my expectations. I dual boot Linux and Windows. Both OS love this card. Games that i play heavily include Doom Eternal, Destiny 2, Valheim, GTA5, Skyrim, Apex, etc. I've been able to max settings 1080p on all of these games and keep a steady 60fps (capped), which is all I'm looking for right now. (GPU and monitor upgrade will be the next step). I have dual 1080p monitors at the moment. This is a solid performer. I have zero complaints performance wise. The AMD software is great and intuitive. With my current set up and air flow, it stays cool, getting to no more than 69c during intensive gaming, but hovering closer to 64c. Simple but powerful build, and this card fits in perfectly. This particular card came with Samsung memory and runs extremely cool. It does most things well and for the price point is hard to beat without jumping in to big navi. I would pick this card over the RX580's for price vs actual use.

Great card for beginners. If you are wondering if this card is compatible with your system, this may help: 1) You need either 2x 6 pin PCIE power cables OR 1x 8 pin PCIE power cable coming from your power supply. 2) You need at least a 500 W power supply. I'm using the recommended 500 W and I wouldn't skimp any more than that. (The card draws quite a bit of power under load.) 3) You need a pretty big case. (at least a Mid-Tower) I double checked the dimensions before I bought it and I had JUST enough clearance. This card is much bigger than it looks. As far as performance goes, this card is great. I can run most slightly older games (2010's era) at Ultra settings and newer games at high pretty reliably, and the card doesn't get warm at all. If you can catch this card on sale at the price of a 1050 Ti, go for this one instead. It has noticeably better performance for the price. Install was also super easy and the latest AMD driver is really user friendly and customizable.
