Customers value the AMD Radeon RX 580 GTS Black Edition 8GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 Graphics Card for its strong performance, especially at 1080p resolution, and its competitive price. Many appreciate the ease of installation and the generally quiet operation, although some users noted higher than expected temperatures and a larger-than-anticipated size. Positive feedback also highlights the high frame rates achieved in gaming. However, a few users mentioned higher-than-expected power consumption.
This card fit right in with my B450M and 2600. Installation was simple. The metal backplate gives the card a solid feel and helps dissipate heat, The wide copper heat pipes do a very good job of removing heat from the gpu and memory. I am not a big gamer however if I wanted to play AAA titles this card can handle them on ultra high settings at 1080 or 1440. I mainly develop applications and perform productivity tasks, because this cards architecture is based on the 480 it shares the same computational power but does so more efficiently. The 4k capability and multi monitor support are great. Although AMD has come out with the Vega VII and RX5700 each of those cards are clocking in at $300.00+. At just about $220 this card now(which was the top card from AMD 18 Months ago) fills a mainstream segment that wants decent upgrade without breaking the bank.

Using this as a placeholder until I can get the GPU I originally wanted when starting my build, before GPUs turned into pure gold.. It really is a great card. Not for $449, but that's the climate these days. I had the XFX RX 570, sold that and purchased this one because my local BB ended up getting one in. Usually hovers between 64-71c during intense gameplay, depending on the game - with fan curve adjusted to favor 69c. I have a 2k 32in monitor and a FHD 24in monitor on this GPU. Without running the fan at its lowest rpm (standard setting in AMD software, zero rpm) the gpu temp goes as high as 47c idle. Single monitor it drops down to about 35c idle. With fan running its now around 37c idle with both monitors. Haven't noticed anything major with the fans/sound or anything. Minor coil whine for games higher than 255fps but that's a total toss up from GPU to GPU. High/Ultra 1080p between 60-130fps, Medium/High/Ultra 1440p between 60-80fps usually. This card is honestly a SOLID card if not for the price. Still giving 5 stars because its a beast. I believe this one is a factory overclock at the 1405 clock. I've kept it at stock for longevity since its a toss up to when things will normalize again.

It’s at good graphics card for the money. Plays all my sons games at 60 FPS min on maxed out graphics. Mine craft is getting 200 FPS+. The card does get very hot at times with more graphic intensive games such as rust or ark cod. I just added another exhaust fan on top and no overheating issues
