Yamaha - Speaker System

There are only 3 soundbars on the market that have 3 HDMI inputs, a Sony, a Bose, and this Yamaha. The Yamaha is more money than the Sony, but has far superior sound quality and it's MUCH less expensive than the Bose without much quality degregation. After hooking it up to my DVR, XBox, and Blu-Ray I was able to eliminate about 10-15 additional wires AND free up 2 more HDMI inputs for future use on my TV. Plus, because the 3 devices all go through the Yamaha amp only one remote is needed.

This is a great soundbar for the money. The available connections 3 HDMI, optical and digital inputs. Also it has an IR repeater if you are covering any ir sensors. I think the sound is really good once you calibrate it to your room. I do feel that the sub can be more powerful. That being said you can add another more powerful sub. Overall this is great soundbar for the money. Hard to find anything with this many connections for this price.

Works great for movies and cable not the best at playing music

Honestly, this things sounded even worse than just hooking a cheap pair of PC speakers up to my TV. I sincerely hope I just got a bad one. It was tinny, thin sound. I didn't even bother hooking up the subwoofer after I heard the soundbar by itself. HORRIBLE.
