    Simple but Complete

You take that theme and run with it Reznor! It's almost like Trent finished reading his copy of 1984 and sat down to write this album. This time it is evident that felt somthing with the project, unlike previous outings (the fragile, I remember reading the lyrics from that album to a friend completely floored with their simplicity and clicheness) Passion, disgust, betrayed, volnerable. When you listen to this album you know that these are the songs that will feel timless the way they did on Downward Spiral. Classics to be had for sure. Some areas need polish, like the end of "The Great Destroyer" What the heck was that all about. Suddenly we bombarded with this horrible drum and bass ballad that sounds like it was thrown together on the mtv music generator. I skip to the next song about one minute into that song. It's a shame too, the begining is great. Don't let that stop you, this is a great album. Most nin fans will buy anything with Trents name on it though, anyone, myself included, knows that every time they look at their copy of the Natural Born Killers sound trac.

This is the best Nine inch Nails album of all time, period. This is their most innovative album to date. This album really transforms the listener into a different realm. This album is a great buy for fans and new listeners to NIN alike. The sounds on this album are truly remarkable. everybody should own this album. As an added bonus to this album you will get a surprise when you take this album out of the CD player because it changes colors, which is really cool.

Of all of NIN's albums, this is definitely my favorite. Other albums may have had better singles than this album did, but overall, I love this album's flow. It almost seems as if each song is fused to the next. My favorite of the album is "Meet Your Master", which I would put in the top five NIN songs of all time (at least my list). This album is a definite buy for any NIN fan, or first time listener of NIN.

    The Year Zero is Now

This release is one that will last through time as a classic album. The elements that are explored in this album break through to chaotic sounds and smooth melodies with the bass beating strong. This album flows great from start to finish with a nice conceptual sound. Also, the surprise you see when you take the CD out of your CD player is worth the purchase.

I've been a fan of NIN for over a decade now and every time a new album comes out, I'm always happy with it. Year Zero is no exception. It definitely has that negative utopia feel to it, but still very much NIN. I recommend it for any NIN fan.

This CD is my favorite since Pretty Hate Machine. I know I'll be able to keep it for a long time and still get into it because they never get old. It's a great CD, nothing by any other band comes close.

The narrative of this album is great. Production and lyrics are top notch. It is only second to The Fragile in NIN's discography
