I remember when I was just a little girl going to the drive in movies with my momma and daddy, two sisters and my brother in daddy's old 1957 Chevy to watch this movie. Fond Memories

This is one of the best "true story" pictures I've ever seen. I enjoyed this film years ago; the recent release of the new Hank bio-pic, I Saw the Light, made me feel it was time to view this gem again.......... memory served me well, this is a great film. George Hamilton turns in a fine performance as the legendary singer Hank Williams, a man whose talent and earthy relatability made him a hero in the eyes of America. As all too often, with fame and fortune there comes a price, and Hamilton and co play that part of his story with a sympathetic nod, making this a film for all to see. I love this film and this updated version from WB does its source material proud. Highly Recommended.
