While the assembly was like Ikea furniture (if you haven't assembled anything Ikea, it's an exercise like no other!), the finished product was PERFECT. I attribute most of my frustration with lack of space in the room I was assembling in. At first, I was cautious due to my new home office being a TINY room. 10'x10' to be exact. Once assembled in the corner, the desk ended up taking much less space than I thought and opened up the room considerably. I chose this for two main reasons: 1. Corner desk with tons of horizontal space. I'm also using a double monitor setup so I didn't use the monitor stand. Instead, I bought a mount that clamps to the back of the desk, freeing up all kinds of space as well. 2. Wood top vs. glass top. There are a couple versions of this style desk. Most of them have a tempered glass top and this was one of the few (AND least expensive) that didn't. These reasons and the fact that I can store things under the desk without any issues led me straight to this desk. I have no regrets.

The desk is a good size, fits a lot on top of it. I have a monitor, printer, file organizer, two desk organizers, an external hard drive, my laptop, a few chargers, a lamp, and still plenty of room for a notebook and a textbook. It did come with some slight damage to a corner of one of the particle board pieces. I'm not too worried about it though. The keyboard slider seems a little delicate, and doesn't slide out just right, but again not worried too much about it. Other than that I am satisfied.

Nice design, and easy to build. Be careful though as this item will scratch easy it seems. Also, the keyboard tray is something you have to assemble and takes some adjusting to get it to slide easily.
