This is my second ZAGG keyboard case for the iPad Mini. The first worked well, but had issues with "double entries" with normal typing strokes. The space bar would stick at times, the "leather-ette" cover was not secured well at the corners and eventually was loose at most corners, and some keys were not attached well. At one point the unit would not charge. I contacted ZAGG and they happily sent a replacement. My second purchase was for the upgraded version of the first. GREAT NEWS! Keystroke issues are gone. Works beautifully. The only issue I have encountered is a rubber strip along the back of the hinge is a poor design. It came loose in the first week of use. One key was loose but snapped back into place. Battery life for the keyboard is improved as are fitment issues. Love the detachable function. "Leather-ette" cover is gone and now is plastic with rubber non-slip pieces.

The Zagg folio slim Bluetooth keyboard enhances the iPad mini tremendously. The iPad mini is now like a ultra flexible all in one tablet or ultra portable "baby" laptop when you need it, with 5 seconds flat for changing from one to the other. Keys are extremely responsive, look and feel is sleek. Battery life of the keyboard is impressive. Only a little bit more attention to detail in design and execution would have made this a perfect product to go with an Apple product. Full price is pricey but Best Buy matched a Zagg online sales price for me. Highly recommended.

The case fits my mini 2 perfectly and had no problem pairing with the keyboard. It does add just a little weight, but that's to be expected. After charging for the first time, I took this on a weekend trip and it was a great companion to the mini. The only problem, which is mentioned by others, is the magnets come out. After using for 2 weeks, a magnet stayed attached to the mini's case when I separated it from the keyboard. I'm hoping I can glue it back in so that it stays in place, because I really like the keyboard.
