Finally found one, I had been looking for this for a while. For the longest time I could only find the glass versions which are terrible as they easily crack. This one how ever is not glass but a plastic film. I had this same one on my iPhone 6 Plus for two years and zero damage, I even peeled it off and put it on my new iPhone 7 Plus. I finally ruined it when I dropped my new iphone on some large gravel rocks face down and someone stepped on it. It took the weight of a whole person to ruin the screen protector. My phone you would think would have a broken screen, nope these protectors work. Not a scratch or crack on my screen, the back light how ever took some small damage from the pressure of the rocks being pressed so hard against the screen. It's just a small pea size of discoloration that can only be seen on black. I highly recommend this screen protector, it's totally worth every penny.

I purchased the Zagg a few weeks ago. I grew to like the finish and scratch resistance - but - I soon discovered when I took my first selfie - the image was not as clear as I had been used to. Further investigation found that the protector film was not di-cut around the rear camera. "WHAT" ? ? So - I contacted one of the sales reps at Best Buy and was told that all screen protectors were made that way. I informed him that my last one wasn't. So - I thought about and decided - what the hay - just use a shape blade and cut the little corner off to uncover the rear camera lens. Mission done - get on with life. So - heads up for those who experience a less than crystal clear image from your selfie cam - you might want to investigate another brand of screen protector that doesn't cover the camera lens.

I first bought Zagg's glass screen protector, but after lifting it a tiny bit to try and remove a small piece of dust, the adhesive scrunched and the screen protector would no longer lay flat. The hassle of shipping it and waiting for a replacement wasn't worth it to me, so I bought this one instead. I like the HDX over the glass, because it is lighter, while still retaining a firm surface like glass. There is no orange-peel texture with this screen protector. The downsides of the HDX versus the glass screen protector include: a slight drag when scrolling on the screen, and it does not resist oil build up as nicely. I had the HDX on my old phone for 2 years and it held up nicely, so I am expecting a similar result from this screen protector.

Got this product for my iPhone 7plus. I didn't want an Otterbox, so I got a generic case that left the screen exposed. I knew I needed a good screen protector but didn't want tempered glass. So I read about this product on its box and decided to try it. The instructions were lacking, and I couldn't find the right video on YouTube for the exact product, so I gleaned what I could and tried it. I have a couple of air bubbles that I couldn't get out and somehow fine hairs got trapped between the screen and protector during my installation - following all instructions- , which didn't wind up taking long at all. Overall it seems like a good product, is crystal clear and easy to clean.

I prefer the HDX Defense over the HD Clear.

I had the Zagg InvisibleSield HD Clear I think it is called, previously on my phone. I dropped it, though it didn't break or shatter, the HD Clear invisible shield got caught on a piece of rock, when I dropped it, and came unstuck from the screen itself. That is where I went back to Best Buy, they replaced my HD Clear, wit the hdx defense InvisibleShield. (With an up charge of course, but I wasn't worried about that.) I was more worried about my phone. The HDX Defense invisible shield screen protector by ZAGG, is a bit more expensive than the original, but it is thicker too. Looks and feels A LOT more durable, and thank goodness I HAVE NOT dropped my phone, to see if it works. Lol.

Actual shield is of great quality but the sticky backing has changed over the years. After placing on my iPhone, a small bubble appeared and would not come out. Then after placing the phone in my pocked the adhesive seems less permanent as the whole shield keeps sliding off the face of the phone. Then to recover my lifetime warranty, I had to pay 5.99 for Zagg to ship a new one with the threat of charging me full price for this replacement if I don’t return the defective one within 60 days. I used to praise this product but now... I’m not as impressed.

I've had this item on previous phones and have been really happy with their quality. Although I'm generally quite careful with my phones, I have dropped them a couple of times before and most times have got away without a problem. Just one time so far, the screen protector took the impact and cracked; but saved my phone screen, which is what it's for after all. I received a replacement one in the mail really quickly and all it cost me was the postage so I was very happy indeed.

This isn't the rigid "glass" cover like I wanted but decided to try it out since I bought it and opened it. Installation was essentially the same as the others, moderately difficult if you don't want bubbles but possible if you try hard enough. This cover was flimsy and didn't last long on my phone because I take it in and out of my bike mount. If you are pretty mild about how you treat your phone this cover would probably be fine honestly. I prefer the hard "glass" covers but bought the wrong one this time, like a fool, and won't be making that mistake again. Can't recommend this.
