Ranged a dark colored cow at over 900 yards. Most 1000+ yard RF can only range animals to about 500 yards. Ranged metal target at 1400 yards. Also good up close for bow hunting.

the price was a killer BUT the quality speaks for itself!! very clear and have spotted things farther than the maximum. cant wait for hunting season!

The only downside to this range finder is the price. That being said, this thing is pretty amazing. I've also lazed cattle out past 1,200 yds and confirmed distances with a tape measure to be accurate out to 300 yds. The glass is very bright, clear and replaces the need for binoculars. It's easy to use and the instructions are easy to understand. It has 12 trajectory tables and a continuous scan mode for moving/multiple targets in addition to the standard range finding function. I've had this product for a year and have used it frequently (almost everyday for a 6 month stretch), dropped it, gotten it wet, had it out in frigid and extremely hot conditions and it's still operating on the original battery and shows no signs of malfunction. This is a great product; even more so after you get over the punch in the gut price tag.
