Customers consistently note the Crane 3-Axis Handheld Gimbal Stabilizer's ease of use, excellent video quality, and impressive stabilization capabilities. Many praise its affordability and long battery life, while some users mention challenges with balancing the gimbal and finding clear setup instructions. The gimbal's compatibility with various cameras is also frequently mentioned. However, the weight of the gimbal and its size are occasionally cited as potential drawbacks.
I purchased this item hoping to use it with my Canon EOS 6D. It took a minute to figure out the balancing, and even more minutes to figure out the hand controls. There are a lot of youtube videos on this, so it isn't a huge detractor. My camera is fairly large, it's a full frame camera, and I have a heavy lens. There were times the gimble would have to work really hard to keep up with it. It was noticeable with vibration in the hand. When it wasn't struggling to keep up with the weight, it did work very well on smoothing out the shots I took. I will also say the quality of the product is excellent. My intention when purchasing this item was to use it when my Wife and I go on vacation to make some videos about our travels. However, once I received it, I realized this wasn't an item I would want to pack with us. Pros: Quality Fairly easy to set up. Tons of videos on usage as well as tips and tricks. Cons: weight. size. Overall this is a good product with a lot of features. If you have a lot of space and a smaller camera, this product should work very well for you. It does have a learning curve on the controls, but as I stated before there are a ton of videos on how to use it.

I was leaning towards getting a DJI Osmo but since I already owned DSLR cameras and since they do better in lowlight settings, I took the plunge on the Crane v2. I owned a previous "stabilizer" that was a pain to get balance, but the Zhiyun Crane v2 made balancing as simple as mounting and pushing a button. Would buy this 100 times over. It takes a little getting used to but it is an awesome device. Have used it already a few times on shoots and look forward to mastering my skills with it.

I use this primarily with my Sony A7iii, and I’ve customized it to fit my needs. My only wish would be for it to hold heavier weights. I still recommend it.
