Zone of the Enders: HD Collection - Xbox 360

After playing the japanese PS3 and 360 versions, I was a little surprised. For one, the framerate for both systems is lower than the original PS2 versions. The other surprise was that the framerate suffered even more on the PS3 version.(weird considering this was a PS2 exclusive). And finally, it looks like the motion blur effect is missing completely on the PS3 version. Bottom line, the PS3 and 360 versions are good and you would be fine buying the version for the system you own, but if you own both systems then the 360 version is the way to go.

On the Playstation 2, Hideo Kojima brought us a couple games that are often overshadowed by his Metal Gear Solid franchise. Zone of the Enders was a fast paced action game that placed players in the pilot seat of a giant robot. The first game was brief but entertaining and originally released with a demo for MGS2. Consider it an appetizer for Zone of the Enders 2, a true classic and the star of this package. This game was bigger and more polished than it's predecessor featuring anime style cutscenes. Now that this package is super cheap, you owe it to yourself to have it in your collection.

This collection is all about Zone of Enders 2. The first is a solid title, but Zone of Enders 2 is one of the better games from the PS2 era. They did a pretty good job with the HD collection, and it's worth it to relive these games(Especially Zone of Enders 2) or for gamers who never played them to experience them for the first time. A good way to catch up on a series you may have missed years ago.

I didn't really pay attention to all of the content to this game. I purchased it for my sons but gave it to my husband as it was not appropriate for my children. Hubby doesn't have any complaints on it though.

These are unique games and the HD graphics help make them easier to experience. Give them a try if you're open to something a little different.

Great game collection, two awesome games for a great price. Gameplay is fast and looks amazing even after ten years. Comes with the metal gear rising demo as well just like how zoe came with metal gear solid 2 demo. The only downside which is the same as back then horrible voice acting which seems even worse now that I'm an adult playing this. I didn't encounter any framerate issues on the xbox, must be a ps3 problem which is ironic considering it was a ps2 exclusive.

These were great games on the PS2 and the fact we can play them again on the 360 or PS3 just makes them even better.

These are two good remasters of the Zone of the Enders games. They are still enjoyable to play years later.
