I purchased this phone with good hope for a decent phone with several upgrades from my existing Huawei Mate 2. More memory, faster processor, better resolution, and a newer version of Android with some possibility of future OS upgrades which Huawei has failed on. In use over almost 2 weeks I discovered that this phone runs hotter, froze several times, and drained the battery far too quickly. Granted I was attempting to replace a phone with really great battery performance, largely related to an extremely large battery - still I want a phone that will at least get me through a 10 hour work and transit period without fear of a dead battery even when brand new.

I got this phone yesterday around 9am. First thing phone was not charging, checked the charger was bad, charging perfect with my LG charger but was very slow as it was not rated for this phone. 4G/Wifi is very very slow, I was never able to play a 1080p video, continuously buffering, for android 6 upgrade it took 5 hours to download. I have good network coverage in my area, with my LG phone 100% signal strength, and with Axon pro I see only one stick. Lots of issues, going to return it.

I am quite impressed with the performance, battery and build quality. I have two devices one is the HTC one M9. The ZTE has similar specs with both a bigger and slightly better screen and a little bit more ram running on pretty much stock Android with a light UI from ZTE
