5A Fitness Game That Delivers!
PostedWorkoutFunEver since we bought the original ZUMBA game for the Wii system, my fiancee (who is a total Latin dance queen) wished that the Kinect platform would also have a new & improved version of the game. ZUMBA RUSH delivers on such a thing! I'm not a dancer by any means but I have to admit that I was impressed with the overall gameplay of this great fitness game. The variety in music, workouts, fitness calendar/stats, the graphics can make a player feel that he/she is in an actual Zumba class. I have never seen my fiancee get so excited about a video game until now since she's not a gamer at all. If you're into dancing, curious about learning the Zumba moves, care about production value in games, like getting fun workouts with a range of difficulty...This game is for you! Even if you're not a fan of dancing, this game will most likely still appeal to people who simply are looking for great interactive cardio home video game. It's a crowd pleaser!

I love Zumba. I have the original for the Wii and I bought the Exhilarate DVDs so I was SUPER EXCITED when I heard it was gonna be on Xbox, so when I finally got to play it today I was disappointed to say the least. First off the pre-order unlockable was a simple couple push of a buttons I could have googled later on. Second I was like a sad they made T look ugly and fat and Gina way prettier than she is even on the dvd. Third the "visual cues" are horrible - it doesn't give you all the cues like Dance Central or Just Dance does, nor does it even show the right move. The cue will sometimes show right and the dancer starts left. I don't know if it's just a bias because I've done some of the songs from the dvd but some of translations to game is really bad and even with my practice from the DVD the moves on some songs are still way to hard to follow. Also there is no real game story to follow you just do a class and that's it you aren't real working toward anything. The only real pluses I found were that the music was for the most part good and I liked the progress tracker that showed time played and total calories burned.

I went out and bought this game the day after Valentine's day, because I had waited all winter for it. I have Zumba for the Wii but really wanted it for the Kinect (no controller, better body reading) I was hooked from the first song. If you want to work up a great sweat this is game for you! I have done some live classes and this game is just like being in a class. The only complaint that I have is when you do all of the moves right it goes to a "Euphoria" mode it's difficult to see the next move and when the "camera" pans to the other "people" in the class you miss the next move. But that aside, this game is what I needed to get my butt off the coach!!

5Cool Dance Workout Game!
PostedVianeyI'm not big on video games but Zumba Rush is an exception. I LOVE dancing and this game captures the live Zumba class feel nicely. I don't have to deal with people bumping, slapping, and stepping on me in some of the overcrowded Zumba classes. So, this game makes a great substitute for those crowded classes. One of my first video game experiences was playing Zumba on the Wii. That was nice. But thanks to the Kinect, Zumba Rush becomes a great game to play. It's fun and it gives a great workout. Latin dance fans and people who like to do fun exercises will love this game!!!

I bought this primarily to get some cardio in at home. I like it better than Dance Central; this game doesn't focus on getting the moves correctly. Some songs are kind of slow, but you get to choose what individual songs you want dance to. There are options for classes (a small class will usually give you 4 or 5 random songs) and you just dance non-stop. It also gives you stats, like how long you worked out, how many calories burned, and your accuracy. I'm not sure how accurate the calories burned is, though, because it doesn't even ask your weight. But if you just want to dance at home, instead of having to go to the gym or a class, I would recommend it.

When I bought the Xbox, i bought Dance Central with it. I was not very happy with the c-Rap, and lack of anything else to dance to. I bought this Zumba Fitness program thinking the exercise and latin music would be fun. We had some friends coming over and so we started the xbox and this Zumba program. Everything was okay for a few minutes, till we started really listening to the lyrics. I couldn't turn it off fast enough, and just pulled the plug out of the wall. Why does this fitness program need lyrics at all. Seems everywhere you go and everything you do, this filthy c-Rap is like the floor in a public toilet. Wipe your feet before you come into my house Microsoft. I have no use for this product.

4Just shy of excellent, yet well worth buying.

Excellent workout that'll burn off the calories and leave you gasping for breath if you're not already in great shape. This program is a terrific way to get into Zumba for those of us that are not keen on the idea of public humiliation in an actual class. :) Only real drawbacks are the toturials, which could stand to be FAR more in depth, and the lack of an ability to save a customized set of tracks to create your own class that you can return to day after day. Makes great use of the Kinect interface and is very enjoyable.

1Few songs & moves. Not engaging at all!
Postedpsyche1018Member
I can't believe there are so many great reviews on this product! Being a novice dancer, I really had high hopes for this game and was excited to purchase it. I gave it a shot and tried a couple songs but it didn't work for me. First, there are only a few song selections and only 1 is in english (ok this is zumba, but can there be more songs and a few popular english zumba songs to throw in?). None of the songs are even popular too! Then, add repetitive moves on top of that which yes can give you a workout but the most boring and lame way possible. It feels like this game was rushed just to sell something in the market. Waste of money!!!
