At GE Appliances, we bring good things to life by designing and building the world's best appliances. Our goal is to help people improve their lives at home by providing quality appliances that were made for real life. Whether it's enjoying the tradition of making meals from scratch or tackling a mountain of muddy jeans and soccer jerseys, GE Appliances are crafted to support any and every task in the home. Take our dishwashers for example. They're built with a variety of features that make washing dishes more convenient and save you time by eliminating the need to prewash dishes. They're loaded with a variety of wash settings to create precise wash patterns that result in a clean you can always count on. And since it's not done until it's dry, most GE Appliances dishwashers feature Dry Boost or Dry Boost with Fan Assist to get hard-to-dry items like plastics up to three times drier. When it comes to peace of mind, we've got it covered with Active Flood Protect, a feature that protects your floors from rare water leaks and potential flooding. GE Appliances dishwashers are also built with various sound-reducing packages, so your kitchen will always be comfortable for conversations with family and friends.
3 Rack Dishwasher
This dishwasher has a third rack without dedicated compartments, giving you extra capacity and flexibility to store everything from lids and serving utensils to small bowls
Bottle Jets
This dishwasher with bottle jets ensures a deep clean for tall items, narrow glasses, jars and more. In the upper rack, each of the four bottle jets directs water and detergent inside to effectively wash hard-to-reach areas
Dry Boost™
Dry Boost gets hard-to-dry items like plastics up to 3x drier compared to heated dry
Wash Zone
Wash a true half load in the upper or lower rack whenever you need to, instead of waiting on a full load. Just choose your wash zone: upper or lower. The feature works in combination with most cycles, saving you time and conserving energy
Steam + Sani
Save time with a Steam option that loosens tough soils before the wash cycle begins, so you get a complete clean with no pre-rinsing or soaking necessary. Plus, a Sanitization cycle reduces 99.999% of bacteria on dishes
AutoSense Wash Cycle
This energy efficient dishwasher has an AutoSense cycle that detects the soil level and amount of dishes, then automatically adjusts wash settings for the ultimate clean
Adjustable Upper Rack
Enjoy flexible loading with an adjustable upper rack. Easily move it up or down to fit bottles, large platters and other items as tall as 10.5
Dishwasher with Many Cycles
This dishwasher offers a heavy wash, normal wash, rinse cycle and 1-hour wash cycle for outstanding wash performance and clean dishes every time, no matter the load size
Reliable Performance
This American made dishwasher is durable, long-lasting and dependable. Its consistent performance will give you totally clean and dry dishes with every cycle
Water Leak Sensor
This dishwasher features Active Flood Protect, preventing potential overflows for greater peace of mind. A water sensor cancels the wash cycle before a flood can occur and alerts you with blinking lights and a tone

Q: QuestionHow come it doesn’t dry the dishes like it supposed to?(1 answer)
A: AnswerHello- Thanks for reaching out. We are happy to help! Your model has the new Dry Boost feature. It is a new drying option that targets hard-to-dry items like plastics. It significantly improves the drying performance, providing up to 3 times better drying compared to a Heated Dry option. Please be sure you are selecting the Dry Boost on your control panel. For the best drying results you'll also want to be sure you are doing the following: Check to make sure the water coming in to the dishwasher is 120 degrees F or higher. (Turning your hot water on first before turning the dishwasher on will help). Use a rinse agent. A rinse agent will accelerate the drying process. Rinse aids help keep water from forming droplets that will dry into spots on the dishes. Check the level of the rinse agent tank periodically and refill as necessary. Use the Dry Boost Option. Using Dry Boost will turn on the heating element in the dishwasher and this will speed up the drying process although it will increase the overall length of the cycle. If you are doing all of the above, we recommend reaching out to GE Consumer Service at 1-800-432-2737. Thank you! Joyce@GEAAnswered by GE Answers

Q: QuestionHow do you hook up the water line to the dishwasher in the back(1 answer)
A: AnswerIf you don't have the instructions that came with the unit, you can search for them online. It should be a simple task to connect the water line, but depending on your clearance, you may need the 90 degree 'elbow' connector (common at any home improvement store).Answered by WayneG
- A: AnswerYes it does. I've never heard of a dishwasher that doesn't have a built in water heater. You only hook dishwashers up to a cold water input line.
Answered by MichaelF
- A: AnswerIt's normal for a little bit of water to remain but you usually can't see it if the filter is on. It may be a sign of a clog in the line. Try turning on your garbage disposal to clear any debris where the line connects to the sink.

Q: QuestionDISHWASHER WILL NOT START TIME DELAY COMES UP(1 answer)
A: AnswerWe’re sorry for the difficulty getting the dishwasher to start. We can only imagine how irritating this must be. Please press and hold the “Start” pad for 3 seconds and then close the door. This will clear out the settings and any selections. Once you’ve done this, please make your load selections again, being careful not to hit the “Delay” pad. If you’re still having trouble after following these steps, please reach us via “contact us” on our website, or by calling GE Appliance Service at 1-800-GECares (1-800-432-2737) Monday – Friday: 7 a.m. – 10 p.m. ET or Saturday – Sunday: 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. ET. Dry cycle
Our first one was damaged in transit, but after using our Total Tech membership that we bought at the same time, another one was delivered and installed a month later. This is replacing our 19 year old dishwasher. I love that the top rack has spray arms (our old one didn't). The 3rd shallow rack (pic attached) is nice to put excess items and lids. The only issue I have, so far, is that it doesn't dry even when you use the extra long dry cycle. I have to open it up and let it dry a day before unloading, or I have to hand dry. My old dishwasher let me run just a dry cycle as many times in a row that i wanted. For an hour wash with normal dry, it takes 2 hours and 4 minutes. With the extra dry, it takes 2 hours and 44 minutes. If you use the bottle jet function, its an extra 23 minutes.

Dishwasher Doable.
Looks & matches with other chosen appliances. Top door control panel not easily accessible. So, installed 1/8 inch sticking outside the cabinet. Not ideal. But, hopefully doable. Have not used yet.
