Q: QuestionDoes Best Buy sell the Kindle Voyage "WITHOUT Special Offers" (i.e. no adds on the lock screen)?See amazon.com web site: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00IOY8XWQ/ref=fs_kv
Asked by Bob C.
- A:Answer I didn't see it but I would assume that you simply remove the special offers from your account for the $20 fee via the website directly.

Q: QuestionI live in Peru, travel a lot overseas, and would like to know if the 3G on this device is recognized worldwide.
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Amazon uses AT&T for its 3G service, and when the partnership was announced years ago, Amazon and AT&T said their 3G service would work in more than 100 countries. So yes, it will work overseas.

Q: QuestionI now own my 2nd Nook, Is the Kindle any better than the Nook ?????I Love my Nook and have my own wifi in my home. But my Nook is now 2 years old and I am wondering if the Kindle is any better. (I have the Large Nook) But does the Kindle have a feature that would let you know if you had read the book or not?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer I have the newest version of the Kindle HDX 8.9 with the wi-fi and 4G and I love it. I had one of the first versions and really liked it too, but this one is great. I read on it, watch videos, listen to music, browse the internet and check emails. It has great sound and the picture quality of videos is great. It is very light weight which makes it easy to throw in my purse if we are traveling. It sinks with my telephone for reading and watching videos and with my tv/dvd player when I use the Amazon app to watch programs. I use it to search/purchase songs to add to my playlists. I really can't say enough good about it. I am still learning how to navigate parts of it, not because it is hard but because I am not the most tech savvy person.

Q: QuestionIs there a monthly charge for wi-fi service?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer You have to be where WiFi is available. If you don't have it at home you will need to go where they have free Wi-Fi. Remember, WiFi is not the same as 3G or 4G.

Asked by Kindle voyage pre-release.
- A:Answer This is not 4G LTE, rather it is a 3G device. I believe Whispernet uses AT&T so that portion would seem to be correct.
