Very good phone Posted by: from: on I bough this phone on sale $69.99 (go phone AT&t) but I use Family Mobile TMobile I did unlock it following this steps, when you buy the phone do not turned on ( some best buy stores will not sale this phone with out activating it, do not let them if they don't want to sell it buy this phone online), take the imei(located where the battery goes)Do Not Turn on the phone, and request the unlock code from at&t for free at it take 24 hours for them to send you the code, once you have the code take the att Sim card out of the phone and replace it with your Sim card(TMobile in my case)turn on the phone and it will ask you for the unlock code, type it and enjoy your new unlocked ZTE zmax 2, I love it you must have patient waiting for the unlock code do not buy one they take for ever and they charge you for something you could get for free, it's a really good phone. If you have an gmail account it will reestablish all your contacs and apps.

Fantastic value Posted by: from: on I am an Android smartphone fan, and i have owned dozens of different Android models, and without a doubt, the Zmax 2 is by far the best budget smartphone there is. The phone features a high quality and nicely calibrated 5.5 HD screen, 16gb of onboard storage, plus the ability to expand with an SD card, and the Android 5.0 Lolipop skin is very close to stock Google, so the phone is very responsive and the performance rivals that of phones 3 times more expensive. The only cons that I could think of are the AT&T apps that are unnecessary, and take precious storage space, and that the unit is probably stuck on Android 5.0, but that's to be expected since is a budget phone. Bottom line is that in my humble opinion, there is simply no phone at this price point that comes close to the value of this unit. Great screen, great battery life, good ammount of storage plus the ability to expand, and a camera that is surprisingly decent for the price of the unit make this a steal. Highly recommended.

Very nice Posted by: from: on Purchased this phone less than a week ago after reading some reviews and I must say that I'm very impressed with the ease of use and the many features this phone has. I broke my note 5 that wasn't covered under warranty. So I needed a replacement and I have to say I love this phone. Fast and excellent call, data, and the dolby sound feature is a plus for streaming in my car. Hooked right up to my Bluetooth with ease. And I have found many feature the same as my note besides finger lock. I use Tmobile so I didn't activate the phone but requested an unlock code from att and received the code in less than 24 hrs with instructions. Now my phone is unlocked to use on any carrier.. I have to say if you need a very good replacement phone or decide you just want a different phone. I recommend this one.

Excellent for the price Posted by: from: on Never looked into prepaid phones till I was forced to since my Note 4 needed servicing. Driven by sale prices I tried the LG Phoenix and the ZMax. I am keeping the ZMax. I can live with the Z as a daily driver. Best attribute is the excellent battery life (Phoenix is very short.) Does everything I need it to well enough. Note though that I do not game on the phone, so no, I don't really tax the phone much but for web browse, emails, videos, music. I will highlight that it did a MUCH better job integrating with Android Auto vs my Note 4 - frankly, this was going to be the reason to keep it as a daily driver (I should say that my ATT Note recently updated to Marshmallow is now much better.) Highly recommended even at the normal price; get it for the sale price of fifty dollars.

It's actually 16GB Posted by: from: Denver, CO. on Great experience so far! Best buy says 8gb but its really 16gb so thats a plus!! I had a LG Flex, screen cracked and I refused to jump on the "AT&T Next Program" boat so I got this device and I can't lie, I am stoked! It's a great device so far, no glitches or anything. It's a great display, clean Lollipop Android, great feel and I love the size. Coming from an LG I have to get used to the buttons on the side and the missing knock-knock feature but I'm totally satisfied with this purchase!! It's light and pretty basic look/feel. Calls are great & clear, speakers are on bottom back and even covered sounds good. Camera isn't out of this world, its a decent basic camera but it def gets the job done and for the price I'll take it!! I have posted a sample shot. My only con is so far, as I know, it does not have an IR blaster and I def used my phone as my remote at times. It also lacks NFC, but I never used that anyways.

Awesome for the price Posted by: from: on I am happy with this phone. Got it on sale for $60. I like the fact it has an older quad core snapdragon processor, removable battery, an SD card slot, and 16gigs of ram memory. Bought a $7 case and friends are surprised at its performance. Speedtest reported 25mbits download on att 4g LTE. I upgraded from an 8 gig phone and I can load all of the apps I need with this phone. Battery life lasts all day while playing songs from the SD card to Bluetooth headset. Only con I have is that the auto screen brightness is a little dim for my taste and I just manually adjust the screen brightness. It can get really bright in manual mode. My wife got the same model before I bought this and she is happy with it too.

$250 specs for $129 price Posted by: from: on Disclosure: I am an employee, but this has not affected my review in any way. Pros: -(Relatively) Super fast. Can switch between apps with no lag, and apps resume just where I left them -Battery life. This thing can sit on standby for 2-3 days, and with heavy use can easily get me through at least 80% of the day. -Fast charging. This doesn't have TurboCharging or what not, but it still has an included 1.5A charger, and charges the phone in a few hours from 15%-100% -(Relatively) Good camera. 8MP rear-facing. 2MP front-facing. Don't expect LG V10 quality, but it gets the job done. -Bright and relatively sharp screen. -Polished look. Cons: -Doesn't get too dark; can get "Bluelight Filter" on Play Store to fix that. -No root options as of 12/26/2015. -Somewhat heavy bloatware, but can all be disabled. Overall, a great phone for the price! I unlocked it through AT&T for T-Mobile, and it works without a hitch!

Excellent inexpensive Android phone-AT&T or T-Mob Posted by: from: on Large screen, great battery life and expandable storage. What else do you want? This phone has twice as much ram as most of the other inexpensive ones so it runs apps with great speed. The GPS receiver has both GPS and Glonass for superior accuracy. Yes, it's an AT&T GoPhone but if you get it unlocked before you use it on their network it'll work on T-Mobile, too. It has Band 12 for T-mobile's new LTE network. I tested this phone on both AT&T and T-Mobile in the middle of the Manistee National Forest while geocaching and it worked quite well on both networks. Yes, AT&T would drop out occasionally as would T-Mobile but considering where I was I had no complaints especially when the fancy Verizon and Sprint phones we had couldn't get a signal anywhere.

Price Is Right, Large Display Posted by: from: New York on Best feature is the 5.5 display size. Phone display is bright enough in sunlight, better than other prepaid phones I've had. As there are many different ways to make a phonecall, the menu choices create confusion in that it's not clear that I've actually started to make a call; however this is an Android 5.1 feature, not a criticism of the ZTE phone. The camera takes average shots. The LED flashlight came on once accidentally although there are no APPS installed for flashlight and there are no settings for flashlight to turn on. In 11 days of use, the ZTE stalled once, so I just had to restart. Overall nice phone, easy to use. Switched from a Nokia Windows 4.5" which was very reliable , just needed to have a larger display. I decided to turn the location OFF as it was using too much Data ; I charge battery each day, and battery goes down from 100% to about 65% at the end of my day before I plug phone back in.
