Q: Whats the average life on a full charged battery and what is the charge time?
A: I have gotten 3 days out of them using them 6 to 8 hrs a day.
Q: will these work in mountains, hills, and trees
A: They do work in hills/mountains but you may be limited on your range depending on area.
A: Absolutely. Must all be on the same channel.
Q: Will this work in different countries?
A: Lol really? They work in other countries but only in English. If you speak another language it automatically translates it back to English.
Q: Are these REALLY waterproof? I'd like to use them kayaking.
A: These models are water resistant, not waterproof. They are rated IPX4/JIS4, which would mean they are protected against splashing water for a few minutes. These would not be rated as being fully waterproof, and may not be able to withstand being fully submerged in water or exposed to splashing water for long periods of time.
Q: Why cant I get them to turn the volume down or change channels?
A: It's possible you have the lock button enabled. Try pressing the call button until the padlock on the top right of the display goes away
A: Ive bought 5 pairs for the foremans at a 7 story apartment building new build. This building is built within a block radius. The radios were intended for the supervisors. They have weak transmission signal. They break up at like 400 feet . We upgarded to midland xtalker and handed these devices to our coworkers with kids. With the hope of trying to revive kids playing out side and not video games. The good old days when we used to play AIRWOLF up on the trees
