Q: Is this lap top with backlit keyboard?
A: Yes it does have a back lit keyboard! Love the keyboard on this. At first it looks odd until you use it. Then you realize it supports your wrists the way it is positioned. The touch pad is extra large, which I love!
Q: It says AMD Radeon R7 M270 graphics is it truely a AMD graphics or A HD graphics 5500?
A: IT comes with AMD graphics as well as intel hd graphics 5500 so you have an advantage of chosing one of them from settings in control panel. if u want to play games better select AMD bcoz it gives massive graphics power for gaming.i brought this from best buy for 999.99 (which has now changed to 1099.99)and this is awesome laptop.
A: That depends upon what you are using it for. Most manufactures claim their products battery last much longer than they do. For most people during normal usage expect at least 5 hours of battery life. (Normal usage means net browsing, streaming media, word processing) For me, about four hours if I am using Adobe AE or Premiere Pro, rendering video. Right now, just watched a 2.5 hour movie from Netflix and doing research, and I am 50% and I have been off the plug for at least 3 hours. As for fan noise, yes, you can hear the fan and depends upon what you do with the laptop. The noise is not so bad it becomes a distraction, but you will hear it. The laptop does not appear to run hot either, its one of the cooler running laptops I have owned.

A: It is good for almost all decent games, including moderate higher-end games like GTA V. For users claiming otherwise, they are likely running the games on the default Intel graphics card, rather than the dedicated card. Users must set the game application for "high performance" in the AMD Catalyst for it to kick in.
Q: Does this laptop come with an International Warranty?
A: go to the Dell website or call their Support hotline and acquire the extended warranty coverage or you could do same when Registration of Product. Speaking to Support will allow your interaction to ensure no limitations on area coverage. My limited research reflects no problem in that coverage as warranty is on unit and not country. Getting service overseas could be concern discuss with Support.
