No Season Pass Required. Finally. Posted by: from: on Forever the best franchise in Xbox history. One thing to note, this will be one of the only games that does not require a Season Pass for future DLC! That means all multiplayer maps are free for the life of the game, as it should be.

Bannhammer strikes Posted by: from: on This is the worst Halo game in franchise history. 343i continues to drag this once proud game into the gutter with releases such as the Master Chief Collection and now H5 guardians. To start, this campaign is comparable to the standard Call of Duty campaign, with little thought put into the characters or story. Halo 5 focuses all of its efforts on multiplayer. While the MP is entertaining, the lack of quality maps and competitive only style of play makes Multiplayer become a boring and repetitive in a very short period of time. Not to mention, 343i are "ban happy" and players will be unable to play for 8 hours at a time for "quitting" but should you get dropped from the game mid match due to their servers, it's viewed the same as quitting. 343i needs to walk away from Halo before they kill this great franchise.

More fun than anticipated Posted by: from: on I picked this up well after its initial release and I have been pleasantly surprised by not only the graphics which are pretty cool but also the game play definitely drew me in. Great purchase!

Great Halo game! Posted by: from: on This series of games has been a favorite since the original XBOX. With the new addition, the graphics and story are better than ever. I made sure to make this one of my first game purchases with this system.

No split-screen co-op Posted by: from: on Although it's gameplay is very good...and this is in comparison for any FPS (not just past Halo games#. Unfortunately, the downfall of this game is that it does NOT have any split-screen multiplayer mode!!! In the past, this single feature is what kept my friends and family coming back to Halo since it's inception! Half the fun is being around others when they are reacting to what just happened in the game! Since all of the past Halo's had this feature, I simply pre-ordered this without reading a preview. Needless to say, I won't make that mistake again because my family and I were extremely disappointed when we excitedly huddle around the TV with controllers in hand as the game loaded up. It was such a let-down, no one wanted to play the game so the next day, we traded it in at GameStop for the Master Chief Collection #which was WELL worth it). I would only recommend this to friends who don't care about the missing split-screen abilities.

no split screen. what the ...! Posted by: from: az on Great game but really let me down with the lack of split screen. What made the original halo for xbox 360 was the fact that you and 3 of your friends can have epic battles from your couch with split screen and that you could play co-op campaign with a friend. Now that im older I bought this game to play with my wife and kids. Halo was the perfect game for gaming with the family. I never even thought they would take out such an important part of the game when i bought it and i plan on trading it in for black opps as soon as it comes out. Did i say i was disappointed. I mean ill never by another halo game again. Its too bad it seems to be a really good game so if you only play online, are to much of a gamer to do split screen, and have no life then this games for you. For guys like me this is and epic failure and they ruined halo. Thanks 343 industries way to ruin a game. Guess 2 years wasnt enough time to figure it out. Maybe xbox one should only be made with one controller and will make all games one player at home.

Total waste of money, is a game for rich people Posted by: from: on This is probably the first mass shooter multyplayer game that does not allow the user with the friends unless they don't pay extra cash. This game allow only one per per console and does not have local lane features. That mean even if you are villing to own one game and console for player you still have to pay xbox live gold if you wanna play with friends, that is the only purpouse of the games. Don't waste your money on this or the xbox one

NO COOP ON SAME CONSOLE Posted by: from: Stanwood on The reason I put it as 2 stars, is that I bought the game for the coop play, but I cant do so on same console. This game is good otherwise, but 343 screwed up big time.

no multi player = bs Posted by: from: on As a guy who grew up playing the halo franchise, I was extatic to hear about the 5th version of the game. I took a break from playing video games all together and decided to dig in to Halo 5. Little did I know that the multi player function was not included in this version of the game. I literally returned it (at a huge loss) the next day. Halo 5 missed the mark on not att that feature.
