versatile keyboard for all your devices
Posted by: from: on
Very versatile keyboard to switch between multiple devices. Supports Win/Android and iOS/OSX.
It is a little heavy but that is to be expected so your devices to not go toppling over.
Easy setup ad switching
A little heavier than expected
on iOS, cannot send text without tapping send on device

Great little keyboard
Posted by: Deviltalons from: on
I use this all the time now! It's so much faster than having to type everything out on a phone or tablet. The only disappointing part is not being able to "send" a message with the keyboard. Instead I still have to hit send on my phone. That is the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. (if there is a way and I just wasn't able to find it, please let me know!)

-Full size keyboard besides the lack of number pad and the arrow keys being squeezed under the left Shift key
-Can switch between three paired devices very quickly
-Works with Windows, Android, and iOS
-Keyboard keeps phones and tables in place and at a good viewing angle in the slot.
-Feels sturdy and has a nice weight to keep it from falling with larger devices
-Rubber pads underneath to keep it from slipping
-Letter, number, Backspace, Shift, and Enter keys have a concave shape that feels nice
-Function keys have nice uses on each OS
-No number pad
-Can't figure out how to line break with it
-Can't fit tablets or phones with thick cases into the slot
-This black version is all matte besides the yellow/green rubber. The white version is glossy on top besides the gray rubber parts and the keys.

Perfect for travel with a tablet
Posted by: CarlNY from: Rochester, NY on
This keyboard worked great during recent travels to allow me to carry a small Amazon Fire tablet instead of a full laptop. I used the keyboard daily for 2 1/2 weeks without any problems at all.
While it is a bit smaller than my desktop keyboard, it is roomier than the keyboard on my wife's chromebook. Even though I have large hands, I found that I got used to the size and layout very quickly.
It can be configured to work with up to 3 devices and switch among them with a dial. In practice, this works exactly as expected and the keyboard quickly links with each device in turn.
The slot works well to hold your device while in use, however it just barely fit my Amazon tablet, so it could not be used while the tablet was in a case. Once I took the tablet out of the case, it worked great.
Only negative is that the battery cover is very loose and frequently fell off when sliding the keyboard in and out of my bag. A small amount of clear tape fixed that issue.

OK, But Could Be Much Better
Posted by: MoparMark from: Salton City, CA on
I purchased this with a Samsung Tablet as the sales rep recommended it as a great accessory for typing. Personally I find it a bit clunky, the tablet did not stay in place well in the slot on the keyboard and I just feel it was not worth the investment I paid for this. I was expecting a bit higher quality and also found that after I used it a few times I just set it aside and it is now collecting dust as I am sure the return process (along with I am most likely out of my exchange period) would be a big hassle. Please try this out in the store if possible with the tablet you purchase to make sure the slot on the keyboard fits your specific tablet well and really consider if you feel you would use this as it is not integrated with the tablet and is "Clunky" to carry around with you when the whole point of a tablet is to be as portable as possible.

GOOD SOLID BLUETOOTH KEYBOARD FOR ALL YOUR DEVICES
Posted by: mole058 from: Miami, FL on
This is a good keyboard to use for all your devices. I enjoy the feel of the keys and I use it for my iPad and Mac Mini. The iPad stands really nicely in the groove provided as does my iPhone. I love the ease of turn a knob to whichever device you are using at the moment. The keyboard is on the heavy side, so I really wouldn't recommend it for traveling purposes, but for an at home/office keyboard it's a great product.

This is the second K480 I have purchased.
I use one at home and one at the office. Very easy to pair with and toggle between devices. I have a phone, laptop, & tablet paired with it and use all three during a work day.
I love the built in stand for mobile devices and while typing isn't a perfect experience it is extremely passable.
I think the one minor draw-back is if you are looking for straight PC productivity you still cannot beat a traditional keyboard but the K480 does what it is meant to do.
If you cannot stand typing on an IOS device like me, this keyboard will be an outstanding alternative.

Great Multi Device Bluetooth Keyboard
Posted by: Boydnhere from: Fairborn, OH on
This Keyboard is great. If you want to link it to multiple devices wirelessly, this is the one to get. I have it linked to my work laptop which has built in Bluetooth for when I have to work from home. I have it linked to my own laptop when I need to use it at my desk. My laptop did not have built in Bluetooth, but with a usb Bluetooth adapter, it linked up seamlessly. I have it linked to my 8" Windows tablet when I need to use it for that. The tablet slides nicely into the existing slot.
My only negative point on it is that my wife's Surface tablet is just a 1/4" too big for the provided device slot. It's not a big deal since the surface tablets have their own built in kickstand. I recommend this keyboard if you need it for multiple devices.

Great keyboard. Compact but not too cramped for rapid typing. Setup was a breeze. When using with a tablet, it's almost like using a notebook. I highly recommend.

Works Really Well
Posted by: jayarivera from: on
+ Really easy to setup
+ Use out of the box (without reading instructions) is as expected
+ Pairing was very simple and straight forward
- Key response when typing is not firm
Like you, I read the online reviews, prior to purchasing. I was primarily worried about two pieces of feedback:
Some commented on how heavy this keyboard is. I've come to realize that this is necessary in order to anchor a larger device (e.g. iPad) and not have it tip backwards.
The response of the keys isn't as "crisp" as I'd hoped, which is the only reason why I gave it four out of five stars.
Overall, really worth the money, especially considering Logitech makes a wired Lightning keyboard for almost double what I paid for this keyboard!
