Logitech PRO Keyboard Folio Case for Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 and Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 Tablets: This protective case allows you to stand your tablet up and type on a full-size keyboard as if you're using a laptop. Lay it flat over the keyboard for essential wear-and-tear protection while browsing and viewing in tablet mode.
Good case, not the best
Posted by: jfly3 from: Orlando, FL on
This case is a good case to fully protect your Tab Pro front and back....not the best case in my opinion though. In terms of the good, the battery life on this keyboard is amazing. Long lasting and fully charges pretty quickly. less than 45 min for me. The keyboard has that nice tactile feel and is easy to use and it has nice short cuts so you don't even need to touch the screen if you don't feel like it. Protects the tablet front and back very well and is very durable.
Only negative thing I have to say about this case is the way it fastens the tablet to the case. Personally, I have to be very careful when opening up the case at first because the case will tend to "snap" off the tablet which then leads to you having to reattach the two together. I sometimes had instances where the tablet would slide out of place when I put the case into the flat viewing mode and would hold it vertical for a long period of time. It isn't such a terrible issue but I personally am very picky when it comes to tiny details like that.
Overall, good case. Not the best though. I do hope they come out with a more securable case so that the tablet doesn't wiggle free at all and there are no issues with it popping out. If you can live with this minor detail, then this case would be great to have. If you are picky like I am, then buyer beware. You might just get slightly annoyed.

5.0.2 Update Warning - When it was working: GREAT!
Posted by: CardinalSIX from: on
Be forewarned that if you purchase this product and your NOTE 12.2 (I have the 12.2 Pro) and you decide to update to Android 5.0.2 this accessory WILL. NOT. WORK; as of July Ninth, Two-Thousand and Fifteen.
Neither Logitech or Samsung have an answer as of this writing. Samsung will blatantly decline any assistance as it is a third-party accessory; they most the will ever ask is if you performed a factory-reset and if that was done correctly,... Logitech has, again- as of this review, not made any type of response. It's a shame and owners of this keyboard now have a glorified stand-up sleeve.
Let me state: when it was working it was a fantastic accessory for the Note tablet. Probably, one of the finest for this device! It's a no-nonsense device, elegant, could take a beating (I've dropped it A LOT,...) and the battery life was/ is great (getting even better now that you can't even use the accessory)! Crisp keys, nice function buttons, and really responsive- everything I expected a blutooth Android keyboard would do/ have- it has! It's also designed so that you can pull the stylus out without incident.
Again, should this issue be rectified I will be glad to redact this review but I cannot recommend this device as it stands today.

Well designed and constructed, excellent keyboard
Posted by: beharang from: Vancouver, WA on
I looked at this keyboard case and the Zagg snap on case. I preferred the logitech because it stays attached to the tablet in all orientations of the tablet but the tablet can be easily removed when desired.
The mounting and dismounting is pretty straight forward but more and better instructions certainly would make setting it up easier. The mounting design using elastomer mounting tabs that also have magnets to hold the folio closed is excellent. While this design makes breakage very unlikely the tablet when not mounted in the mounting tray can be pushed out of the tabs by pressure against the top edge of the tablet if one is not paying attention. I like this mounting and dismounting system over the plastic clip style because the chance of breakage of said clips is completely eliminated. The provision of a tab to grasp when opening the folio is a nice feature to help prevent inadvertent partial dismounting of the tablet during opening.
The keyboard is typically well done as are all logitech keyboardss. It has a good tactile feedback, is smooth to touchtype on, and has a pretty much standard keyboard set of keys. The internal battery charges quickly and gives good run time between chargers. Providing a short USB cable is a very welcome addition.
The materials look to be of excellent quality and the workmanship is first rate. The fit and finish is likewise excellent with the camera opening fitting the camera perfectly without be greatly oversized. The seams are very well done and the outer skin has a tacile feel much like the back of the tablet giving a good sense of grip without the danger of it slipping out of your hands. The mounting/dismounting tabs are also configured to keep the screen from touching the keyboard when the folio is closed, keep the keyboard surface and keys from touching the table surface when the folio is turned inside out to position the tablet flat on the table. Likewise, when the folio is Z-folded to position the tablet at a slight incline for use when the keyboard is not desired the tabs space the tablet back and the keyboard apart.

A great keyboard until Android 5.0.2 bricked it!
Posted by: Nickname1234 from: on
This was a great product. HOWEVER, if will be upgrading your NotePro 12.2 to the lastest version of Android (5.0.2) this keyboard will NOT WORK. That update came out a few days ago and the keyboard no longer works. Logitech support and Samsung support are not silent while the newsgroups are bursting with complaints.

Very Unhappy With Problem
Posted by: BillM from: on
I bought the Samsung Note Pro tablet which I love I pretty much love anything Samsung I've had their phones for quite awhile and never had any issues! I needed something for simple internet searches or online shopping or information after my Laptop couldn't be used anymore something to use around the house or quick travel.I prefer to use a keyboard to type and I bought this as an early Birthday present for myself so I bought it in December 2014 I haven't even had this keyboard 7 months yet and I spent over $100 as I'm sure most other people have. This isn't a cheap add on what so ever and to not even have it a full year where a update on my tablet cause it not to work angers me a lot to spend that much money on something that should last! I think the company should do something about this even if its to give us 25 dollars off the spend to a new keyboard I think this is unfair that the two companies are keeping quiet and not willing to make things right!! Do not buy this product it was great while it lasted but not worth the money to have this happen!!

This Product No Longer Works with Galaxy Pro 12.2
Posted by: MtaylorUSA from: on
Since the "upgrade" of the Android OS, this product does NOT work with Samsung Galaxy Pro 12.2 tablets.
To to-and-fro over this issue is ridiculous, with most parties denying responsibility, and no timetable for fixing the problem. Doucmented here:
It was a GREAT keyboard/case (5 starts) before the OS upgrade and the ensuing nonsense from the vendors.

nice cover/keyboard but. . . .
Posted by: philly from: Hatch, Utah on
I bought the new Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 not long ago and have been looking for a cover and keyboard for it. I debated on this one for a long time because of the price, color (prefer a white to match tablet), and the so so reviews. I decided to bite the bullet and give it a try. I really like the way the case looks, being similar to the faux leather on the back of the tablet, and the keyboard is really nice. I had given it a 3 star for several reasons: (1) price, (2) comes with no instructions, and non available on-line, and (3) it leaves a permanent mark (line) across the whole length of the screen. It's from the edges of the trough that holds your tablet upright. Luckily I have a screen saver on but not sure if the mark had gone through. Now, I have to make sure I have something soft to lay across the keyboard and trough both. I haven't decided if I'll return this item or not.

After the upgrade on your tablet, keyboard do not work anymore. Not fair to the customer. Stand by your product, get it fix or refund us. Bad business.

Bought a new Pro 12 note tablet today with this Keyboard. It is no longer compatible. As soon as your tablet upgrades to Lollipop it will not work. Sorry but the keyboard should be pulled from stock!!! I now have to drive an hour to go to Best Buy and take mine back!! I did not know about the issue until I got home and the keyboard stopped working. First search on line showed the problem. I can't believe Best Buy is still selling this case/keyboard. :( NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER
