Fabulous & easy!
Posted by: Diagonal from: on
I purchased this on the recommendation of a sales Rep @ Best Buy & am so glad I did! It is simple to use & compact. I have a Samsung Galaxy SII phone & the juice pack holds enough charge to recharge my phone TWICE! I bought it 10 days ago & have already used it several times to recharge my phone when I didn't have access to a power source. I even used it in my pocket one time. That was a bit bulky but I wanted to test the convenience if I needed to charge on the go. Highly recommend!

Perfect for on the go
Posted by: VitaNoob from: NY on
I bought this to charge Samsung's GS4 while i was not near a wall charger. First I must say this thing is great! For what I am using for (just to charge phone on go) it works perfectly.
1) It itself is a 4000mAh charger (battery being charged is only 2600mAh)
2) To charge actual unit (on standard 15A wall outlet with the supplied USB charging cable from my phone) it only took about 1.5 hours out of box to get to full) Unit itself come with about a 2.5 foot cord u must supply another USB ----> what ever your charging end
3. I let my phone go all the way down to 5% battery to get about the maximum charge out of the Mophie (again its a 4000mAh battery is a 2600mAh) and this thing charged the phone LIGHTNING fast @ about 2amps, from 5% to full took about 50 mins. WOW......then i let my phone get to about 5% again but never charged the Mophie (wanted to see how much juice was left) and WOW again, it charged it from 5%-73% on what juice was left in it. Pretty impressive considering that's all you are going to hopefully need to get to an outlet.
4. Finally it has 4 nice little LED lights to let you know when the Mophie is charging, one will blink one at a time from 1-4 to let you know where in the charging it is, also if you have it on the go with you and need to see how much juice is left you can just push the little button on the side and the LED's will light up 1-4 again to let you know (1 obviously being need a charge soon while 2-4 still means you are in pretty good shape) When I did my second test from #3 above the Mophie only showed 1 LED light when i checked its status, i'll take that anyday, Its saying "Hey I need a charge myself, but i'll still get you to where you need to be first!"
Overall i def recommend this to anyone who is on the go all the time and needs to charge there devices. I must inform also that it does not have simultanious charging, meaning you can not charge the Mophie and your device at the same time, not a drawback for me but figured i would mention for others who will consider this.
Unit is small enough that it fits in my pocket along with the huge phone as well, if you need more juice they offer it in bigger (mAh) and i am sure they are just as good as this one.
I got the Red one, for some reason the site would not let me review that one....the Red is very nice looking and i am sure it performs just the same as the Black =)

Great Power Source
Posted by: McCyn from: Huntington Beach, CA on
A little pricey but such a great way to charge my phone when away from a power supply -which is often!
I have a Motorola Droid 4 phone and I LOVE it! My phone is in constant use, so the battery always gets drained pretty fast. -you know, same complaint you hear about every smart phone.
With previous phones, I just owned a few batteries and switched them out throughout the day. The Droid 4 has a non-replaceable battery so instead of carrying around extra batteries...I carry this around.
This charges to 100% and it charges FAST!
Love it -don't leave home without it! I own 2 so I can be sure to make it an entire day with my phone.

Great for a charging drought
Posted by: Ruphio from: Saint George, UT on
This device is great for when you have to travel! I took it on a Business trip and my phone was about to die (from playing too many games to pass the time). Luckily I was able to plug in right then and there to have it give me almost a full charge. I often charge it and take it in my shoulder bag for the random time I need to use it or if a friend needs it. Heck... you could even charge people at the airport for an extra charge. ;) Overall I am glad I purchased this item.

Dead out of the box
Posted by: HoustonTx from: on
Purchased this item while it was on sale in April 2016. Today, July 2nd is the first time I go to use it after fully charging it and it's dead. Battery indicator when I plug it in shows fully charged but when I go to charge a device with it, it won't charge it. Now I'm like 7 days past my 60 day return policy (Elite Member).

Not worth the price
Posted by: JayL from: on
I purchased the powerstation a little over a year ago and it works great at first. I use it occasionally since I am an IT professional who works remotely from time to time. About 8 months ago, I was forced to travel to my office so I left the powerstation on my dresser. I've had less than 50 charges on my mophie device and now it won't hold a charge when I needed it during a conference I attended last weekend. I contacted their technical support and warranty team, but they said they couldn't help me because it was over the warranty period. What a waste of money. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND BUY GENERIC ONES. I wouldn't be as angry if it didn't spend 5 times the amount for a brand that's supposed to be the top in the industry. I won't be suggesting these products or purchasing their products for the 600 customers I support.

This thing is JUNK!
Posted by: ItalianStalion from: on
I bought the red one a couple days ago, charged it for 4 hours, when I unplugged it and plugged it into my IPhone 6 it literally charged it for about 5-7 mins before dying. So I charge it again for 2-3 hours, and it did the same thing. So I exchanged it for the white one thinking I got a defective red one....And what happened?!! THE SAME THING!! Don't waste your time on this power pack. It's garbage. Go buy yourself the MyCharge RazorMax. That's the same price and actually works super good!

It doesn't work
Posted by: Mrichter from: on
My fault that I can't return this piece of junk. I accidentally threw out the box and receipt before using. I also didn't need it for over a month after I bought it. When I did need it, it didn't work. According to the lights it was fully charged. I tried it on 6 different devices and it didn't power up or charge any of them. It does make a great paperweight though.

All the (Product) batteries were bad
Posted by: RaMB from: on
I had to return the device because it wasn't charging. Went to the store to get the replacement, and when we tested another red (Product) one, it still wasn't charging. The store reps ended up testing all the red (Product) batteries, and long story short, I ended up buying a black one. Don't know what happened, but all the red ones were bad. The black one was just fine though.

It never worked
Posted by: Cathy from: on
The mophie never worked and I did not realize it until it was too late to take it back. I read online that this was not uncommon.
