“Do you have a digital recorder for dictation that can "back-up" briefly to hear part of what you just recorded? We are looking for a digital recorder that can "back-up" just a little so we can hear what was just dictated (but only like the last sentence). The one we currently have, will only back-up to the beginning of the recording. The micro-Cassette recorders can do this but the sound on them is terrible. Please let me know of any digital recorder that is capable of backing up "briefly". Thank you!”

The dictation that is recorded in the Sony ICDUX523BLK Digital Voice Recorder can be rewound to a specific point. If the Rewind button (<<) is pressed and held during recording, the recording stops and you can search backwards while listening to fast playback sound. After the Rewind button is released, playback starts from that specific point. If the Play/Enter button is pressed during recording, then the recording stops and the playback will start from the beginning of the recorded file.
