Not crazy hot, but they are hot enough to notice when you touch them. I'm not sure if that is the case for other HDMI ends as well. The quality seems to run well.

Only concern is the adapter gets quite warm, so a litlte concerned as to longetivity.

HOT cables damages displays

Now there is band at the top of the display that won't ever go away. PLEASE STAY AWAY from these cables or you could be facing damages.

It works, but...

Not sure why. Ended up buying the DP to HDMI dongle and it worked perfect and without the cable heating up.
