I loved it till it broke
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the mini FoodChopper two years ago and loved it - until this afternoon, when it wouldn't work. I took a close look and found that one of the latches on the base had broken off (see 10 o'clock on the photo). I hadn't done anything to break it that I know of, but when I touched another latch, it broke, too (see the bottom). It was great while it lasted, but I haven't decided if I'm going to buy another one as a replacement or not. I'm disappointed in how fragile it was.

Not my size
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The processor wasn’t the right size for my cooking needs, so I passed it on to my neighbor, who absolutely loves it.

Fix the lid
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We purchase this ias a quick way to chop up veggies and garlic instead of using a knife or pulling out the big food processor. the actual chopping of this product is fantastic, but the design in putting on the lid to activate the device is frustrating. The lid has to be set in the correct way for the device to work, but there’s no clear indication that the lid is on correctly, so when you think it is on and secure, it still doesn’t work. But then when you think it’s off a little bit, it works.

Decent for the price.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The chopper chops well enough, easily handling even raw potatoes. However, you can't really control speed, or the type of cut you get. Additionally, there is no button for starting/running the chopper, you just depress part of the lid. This doesn't work all that well and is a little finicky, especially if you have the basin full.

Mushy Pico de gallo
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Its a good chopper. Lots of power. I primarily bought it for making salsa but it basically pureed my tomatoes instead of just cutting chunks. I gave it 4 stars for the fact that it will chop! but over chops for what i wanted. I love chunky salsa and i got mushy pico de gallo, LOL

On the Fence
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Small and not easy to use initially. The device will not turn on if the processor is unlocked, but continued fumbling will get you there. It took me 40 minutes to get this going for first use. Price is okay but not worth the issues if looking at other comparable options.

Not so hot
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really wanted to love this processor. But I don't. Its difficult to put the top on and line it up. There is no switch. You push down on the top to activate it. I don't like it. Once you get it all lined up it works great. But it's a pain.

Great for small jobs
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My 2 issues were: it was a bit too small for what I wanted to do, and the other is that it must be held down to function, which means it defeated the purpose of freeing up my hands to do other things. It was powerful, cute color

Works well
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had to return it cause it was not for me. the design of the pulse operation is weird and seems cheap and fragile. didn’t want to deal with cutting pieces into one inch pieces to get a uniform cut , that’s what a food processor does . granted it’s small so smaller pieces are the norm but I’m not gonna cut it that small. I might as well dice myself for the price of a few minutes more work ( for free) , it defeats the purpose and all I have to wash is a knife instead of a bunch of pieces adding even more work to a supposedly easier process, disappointing.

Not for chopping big pieces
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It depends on what you want to cook. I was hoping to find something that can chop can chop stir-fry. Didn't work. If you are making salsa, that works fine.

Decent Cheap Processor
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This food processor gets the job done on small jobs. My only complaint is for say onions, the bits get pushed to the side/ bottom avoiding the blades.

I have not yet used this item.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The only reason I gave only three stars to this item is because of the fact that I have not actually used it yet. But being KitchenAid I'm sure that I won't have any problems with it.

Works OK, but
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Does the job pretty good, but each time we prepare something it is three or four minutes of frustration putting the top on. If not for that I would probably give it a higher rating.
