It doesn't light up, so I need to use a flash light. Otherwise I am really enjoying my new range

Very disappointed that for $1500 the lower half of the front panel does not light up. Cant tell what you are looking for without a flashlight. Figured for this price you could read the panel. wonder if the next model up is the same. I see the knobs light, but it don't say anything about the panel. Seriously considering changing for another manufacture..

We bought over $5,000 in LG appliances almost two years ago and I just spent another $!,800+ on another refrigerator for a 2nd home. We NEVER would have bought this range had we known of this problem. It is IMPOSSIBLE to read the panel without shining a flashlight on it. And LG simply tells me the "feature" is not supported by the $2,000+ product we purchased. How incredibly STUPID is it to design a product this way. Shame on us for talking so long to investigate this problem. Had I know this soon we would have returned the range
