    Coming from Samsung, i got this Sony TV because of the picture quality, but after a couple weeks it started to freeze and you can't even turn it off, to the point that it has to be disconnected from the outlet, after looking around the web looks like its a real issue they have, i hope they fix it quick.

    No Third Party installers!!

    Product was okay but I specifically wanted geek squad to install the tv!! Got an appointment details and was told they would call within 24 hours…no call. No problem, the day they were scheduled to arrive was 11-4. No problem, a guy calls at 8:15 am and says he’s 10 minutes away! No problem, he shows up by himself and says somebody will arrive later to help him. The guy looks at the wall mount I bought from Best Buy and says it can’t be installed on the wall. He said he had a mount on the truck that could be installed for $100. and I could return the other one. I said okay, I didn’t want to wait another week. He then proceeds to install the piece on the tv. After that he put four holes in the DRYWALL and mounts the frame to the wall. The “helper shows up and they proceed to mount the tv to the wall. Luckily the helper noticed it was being mounted on to the drywall and stops. I told the guy that is why I bought the better one and he uninstalled theirs. Then after he finally got the right one installed they had it 12 inches higher than what I told them. They turned on the tv and instantly yelled out! The tv screen was broken so they told me to call Best Buy and promptly left . Called Best Buy and the lady I spoke to said she couldn’t do anything and try again tomorrow!! I got into my car and drove straight to the store. I spoke to the lady at the store and she helped me out, but I had to wait another week, but she made sure I got the geek squad…finally.

    Another Great TV With Terrible Software

    Over and over and over again, I have to uplug the TV for software bugs. Leave it unplugged for a few minutes and then plug it back in. And it'll work fine for a month. Then it will develop some new bug. Screen lagging or just completely not working, YouTube not appearing on screen, Wifi disabling itself. So you unplug it, the TV sorts itself out, and then it works again. Can we just get a $2,000.00 TV with good software for a change? Other than the software, it's an excellent TV.

    Good Picture Head‑On, But Weak Off‑Axis

    The 85" BRAVIA XR X90L delivers strong, punchy picture quality when you’re seated directly in front of it. HDR brightness, motion handling, and general clarity are solid for movies, sports, and gaming. Google TV is feature‑rich and responsive enough, and build quality feels premium. That said, the cross‑angle (off‑axis) viewing is not good—colors wash out and contrast drops noticeably when you move even a bit off center, which is tough in a wide living room. The interface is just okay: it works, but it can feel busy with extra recommendations and menus. Considering the price, Samsung’s comparable models look more promising to me in both feature set and wide‑angle viewing, which holds up better for group watching.     Very limited side view - too much glare. Did not like the Goggle TV operation. Others may not have the same issue. Straight on view was great but Goggle TV was what caused me to exchange it for a Samsung.

    The picture quality is great, enjoying the experions. However when it comes to sound, I was having high expectation but the sound quality did not matched. I am having a home theater seto that i use in case i want to switch to a better sound. Over all its good. Now a days TV gives just 1 remote for so much money spend, atleast two oringinal remotes should be provider.

    Not worth losing my 100" Epson screen size

    It was a nice TV with good picture, however I have an Epson 1080P projector that I view at 100 inches that provides a overall equally satisfying viewing experience factoring in the increased screen size and not losing all that much in picture color and detail to make it worth the difference in cost.

    TV is nice great picture however one of the inputs doesn’t produce any sound. We’ve tried plugging in different devices, used different connections and wires nothing worked. Very disappointing given the cost of the TV.

    too early on this one. The first one woulnd't power on after 2 weeks and Geek Squad sid it was just dead. It has been replaced with the same TV so we will see. Both Geek Squad teams did a fantastic job. Both were courtious, very careful inside the house and everything looked great

    The price didn't match the quality. I existed more from Sony. I purchased this tv because of sports, but it was a big mistake because the colored are following the person, ball, etc...

However, you can use the built-in Chromecast feature or Apple AirPlay to cast the content from the Spectrum TV app on your mobile device to the TV.
