A: I used it in saltwater when I went away this past July. The only thing I did was when I got back to my room I filled my sick up with warm water. I swished it in the water for 60 seconds making sure I slid the cover down. After I rinsed it I let it dry on a towel for 30 minutes.

A: Hi Glenda, sorry but the camera do not have night vision features. ILCE/DSCRX models are capable of doing low light photography but they are not waterproof. The TX units are mostly waterproof. Best regards, Zander
