A: They are a bit slippery with this spec. For one thing, it depends on the ohm ratings of your speakers. 8 ohm is the mot common, unles you have some more exotic speakers. So, at 8 ohms, with all 5 speakers running, they claim 110w of Dynamic power, which means it will hit 110w at peak points. I would plan on about 80w constant power. This is the case with every brand, so it is not just a Yamaha issue. There should be a law passed that forces them to cite real world numbers, much like the newer food nutrition labels, which have to be clear about what they claim. That is why you no longer see quotes of 100 calories on a can of soda, but the fine pint would read something like "number of servings = 4" now, they just have to admit that it is a 400 calorie can. Audio equipment manufacture we are still using the smoke and mirrors way of presenting these numbers.
Q: Will this pass through hdr?
A: HDR not supported for this model.
Q: What is the height including rubber feet?
A: This unit measures 6.4 inches high.
Q: Can I connect turntable or phono
A: You will need an external phono preamp to connect a turntable to this receiver. I chose the U-Turn Audio Pluto Preamp, and am very happy with the sound. It cost $99, but you can find preamps for as low as $50.
Q: can this receiver connect to wireless speakers and subwoofer
A: Yes, Yamaha musicCast speakers only
Q: Will this receiver work for my bose v10 system? Thanks!
A: The revivers work through any system that's Bluetooth but the sounds only will play through your receiver speakers.
A: I don't think so, the instructions really don't say much.
