It’s an amazing laptop! I don’t like the fact that you can’t change the colors of the backlight but on the other hand it’s a great gaming laptop and in comparison to other gaming laptops it’s amazing for the price that it is I’m really enjoying it!

Acer really knocked it out of the park with this one! The 6-core 12 thread 11th gen I5 is amazing and it's paired with a great 1650 gpu as well! Speaking of the 1650 this model is not using the slow 2019 gddr5 1650 but, it is using a 2020 almost 900 cuda core gddr6 1650 that pretty much matches a 1650 t.i! This along with the fact that it is windows 11 ready makes it a great purchase for $699-750! It did need an immediate upgrade of ram and hdds but there is two m.2 slots (one in use). and one 2.5 slot! The back is easy to remove compared to my dells and msi laptops. Overall it may not have an rtx gpu but the gpu will perform great for years to come and at this price point its killer. The keyboard is great and the new black looks amazing! 10/10

Not sure why this is the same price as the other Nitro 5 with the slower CPU but it is. I know it only has a 1650 GTX but it's more than enough for me, especially when paired with the i5 in this thing. And with prices crazy and out of stock, this made the most sense. Pros +Looks awesome, even comes with some cool stickers. +Awesome keyboard, colored special keys like ASDF. Red backlit keyboard (shouldn't disrupt sleep, huge plus for me, not that I plan on keeping on while I sleep but it is nice). + Vibrant matte screen w\ nice brightness +Super fast response time, especially internet page loading times. +Ability to add another m.2 hard drive and 1 regular hard drive. Cons + You may think it's dead on arrival if you don't get the power plug in all the way, but this is actually a good thing IMO. The power cable seems extra secure and it's probably an attempt to keep this port from wearing over time and causing a failure years later. There are instructions about ensuring it "clicks". + It appears the USB-C can't charge the thing. + Some upgrades, like another m.2 require prying the side to install, but not a deal breaker, it looks a bit easier than some laptops I've worked on and I think the underbelly should allow other add-ons easier. + Nothing else yet, really loving it.

The product is great. Very happy with it. I bought it for light gaming and wanted a computer that would be snappy with everything else that I had to do. It does seem to struggle a bit with the 8gb memory sometimes, but I think it's because of Windows 10. RAM is super easy to upgrade on it though, can easily be done in under 5 minutes. The processor and GPU have no issues running quickly and have been great for all the games that I have played. If you're looking for a great priced entry level gaming laptop, THIS IS IT!

As the title states, I've had this model for over two years. Acer quality is top notch and never fails to disappoint. The cooling system/chassis is simply amazing, with excellent fan control. The display is very good (could be a tad sharper). The GTX 1650 has been good for casual gaming. I removed a star because the Acer software support products (NitroSense and Care Center) are a bit dated and lack some features compared to their competitors. Additionally, I was a bit surprised that the battery will not last more than two hours during casual web browsing, even with all my meticulous optimizations. But, still a great system and still very usable.

It's been years and this thing still performs top notch and has played everything I threw at it, plus handles light music production.

the space on it is pretty small, but that's not really surprising because laptop. i added some ram but even before that it ran pretty good. for anyone curious, it runs ffxiv on mid-high graphics without issue. overall a good purchase if your budget is smaller and you just want a gaming laptop. you may want to invest in a cooling fan as well

Love this laptop. Handles my gaming well. I really like the nitro boost to cool it down. My only issue is with the lack of hard drive space. It filled up fairly quickly, but other than that, it’s great.

Awesome fast computer at a great price. I bought two of these for my nephews and they loved it. Perfect for Minecraft and Roblox :)

Very good laptop. This is the first time using this laptop. I am having to learn how it works with my other programs. It does run very fast and sometimes when I am writing it will skip to a line above as if I was writing in that line.

My 12 year old son bought this to use for all of his online and pc gaming. He loves the look, and has not had any complaints on the speed. Great look, and he is very satisfied with his purchase.

Probably the best gaming laptop they sell for the price, at the time it was $699.99 now they raised the price, so it isn't worth it at any higher of a price...But it is very upgradeable and that is what makes it worth it!

Great gaming laptop. Very fast speed. The price was good and it comes with alot of great features. Keeps up with games and all my streaming needs.

My son loves the laptop. It does what a gaming laptop should do at a very affordable price. But unfortunately I do have a negative comment. This was not the laptop that I bought. When I first ordered it, it had a colorful RGB keyboard and then when I picked it up I noticed that BEST Buy changed the image on the order and I ended up with the laptop with a red keyboard. I talked to the store associates and they said I could return it. Unfortunately, my son wanted a laptop and he was willing to settle.

My son is in love with this computer. It was quick and easy to setup. He could use mine raft really quickly. Love it!

Overall it is great for gaming and it met most of my expectations. However, it does not last more than 2hrs unplugged.

This laptop is a beeeasst! It can open and run easily every app or game you take. Could have more than 60Hz screen.

Overall just a really nice laptop! The only thing is I wish i could've got a different color.
