I played the original on my xbox 360 and absolutely loved the game. Playing again didn't give me the same feeling. If you beat the original I'd say pass on this. If you've never played it give it a shot.

Great game! Excellent story and atmosphere! Combat is a little simple but the remastered graphics are great! Highly recommend if you haven’t played before

I should have played this game back on the 360 but I was in only into CoD. Great story and horror game. My first horror game. Simple gameplay but over all fun. Barry is the man. Probably will get the sequel to this. This game shares the same universe as Control. Control is made by the developers of this game.

I loved this game on the Xbox 360 and it still holds up. The Atmosphere and gameplay are great and the story is bonkers in a good way. It’s also worth the repurchase for the smoother gameplay on the Series X.

Gameplay on Series X is 60fps yet cutscenes are 30 WITH hitching. Main character's voice acting/delivery was at times decent but other than that he was borderline Nicolas Cage bad. Very little variety in enemy types. Environments looked great but characters looked very outdated and stiff. Story was very convoluted (much like Remedy’s other games). Story constantly gets interrupted by enemies spawning in. I DID enjoy the flashlight/shooting mechanic. I DID like the overall foggy dark and dreary aesthetic.

Best Remastered Game For This First Timer To Play It

A really good game however I’m getting tired of physical games with Series X only putting the base files on the physical disc and making me download the game for Series X. Kinda defeats the purpose of buying physical. However, this game was amazing on 360 back in the day and it holds up really well here! Includes all DLC and 4k 60fps.

Great hd remaster. The original was beautiful to begin with. But this is really crisp and even more atmospheric.

Excellent and unique game and a great update. Not just a new coat of paint and FPS upgrade, but a legit remaster of lighting, textures and models.

I'm one that has never played Alan Wake before, but I love the horror and suspense this game delivers, would recommend. Best Buy delivered this one Same Day Locally which to me is the best preference (FYI).

I held off on playing the original release for awhile but when I saw the remaster I decided to play with the updated graphics. It’s a great game, best described as “Stephen King The Game”.

Ready to revisit a classic from the last gen consoles. Love what they did to make this relevant for a new generation of gamers who might know the Remedyverse through Control

One of my favorite games is now back I'm happy they remastered it gonna gonna be fun to play thid again. It worth the buy if you havent picked it up the first time around.
