That’s for me is a really product device...I can enjoy 2 things with this...my nice and loud speaker with Alexa assistant connection. Also save a lot of money in a new speaker with this feature. Good product

Very simple and seamless way to connect with Echo and Bluetooth connect with my JBL Soundbar. Awesome device and price was beyond incredible!

I have this plugged in to a Speaker, but most of the time I don’t bother to turn it on to hear “Alexa” speak to me. I have a wifi bulb in my ceiling light, smart tv, and possibly soon, a WiFi plug. I use it for simple commands, such as turn On/off my tv, Turn on/off my light. I love that it doesn’t have a a speaker for what I use it for. With “Alexa” app, I can set up commands/phrases to run my smart room. Good product. No issues.

If you enjoy things like music and news via a convenient Alexa device, this is a great way to tie in your stereo hi-fi for a great price. If you tie in your stereo, you don't need Alexa speakers, etc. and it sounds great even though it is not hi-def stereo. It also works great with a good set of computer speakers & subwoofer for most normal listening. For the price - especially on sale, it is hard to like it. You won't miss the volume control since it is on your stereo and sound quality is basically upper MP3 quality.

This unit is great if you are using your own speakers. It’s small and discrete. I wish it had volume controls, that would have made it a 5 star

This echo device works great. But my intended purpose was to put in my vehicle. It works in the vehicle but you have to sync it with your phone hot spot every time, which is hit or miss. If you are planning to do what I did, wait and get the echo auto (I just got my echo auto and it works much better for that purpose). If you are going to use it for it's intended purpose then it is perfect. Does everything an echo dot does, just without the volume buttons.

I was really glad to find this product and impressed by its low price. Not only does it add Alexa to existing speakers it adds Bluetooth too.

Since I already had an exceptional bluetooth speaker in our bedroom, I purchased this to add the ease-of-use that Alexa gives. It works fine. I have no complaints about it, and it was really easy to set up. It has the usual issues that any Echo device has: Alexa apparently does not even know how to search the internet, and unless a particular question has been programmed into her (it?), she is incapable of answering even the simplest of questions. She's great for playing music, but woe unto you should you attempt to play anything by an artist with even a slightly unusual name.

Excellent no speaker Alexa/Echo device. Works great and small for my bookshelf system.

I purchased this item for an old wired amplifier and speaker set. It was easy to set up and it did what was advertised. However, I noticed the audio seemed to be lower quality than what I was expecting. I then decided to test my theory and I connected one of my existing 2nd Gen Echo Dots to my system and the quality was noticeably better. That being said, if your main concern is simply to make an existing speaker "smart" and work with the rest of your Alexa devices, then you can't beat the price and function of this device.

Besides to Alexa function, this echo input give you portability to use whatever you need, and most important, whit the speaker you want. Of course the echo dot provide some sound, but for the price, you get the Alexa function and you just need a speaker (either Bluetooth or wired) to make it work. I have it in my room for personal use with a small speaker, and it connects also to living room making easy to drop messages or control any other device.

Works well. Used an AUX cord to connect it to an older Bluetooth speaker. Worked well and was a great price, especially for it giving a more modern feature to the speaker I already owned. Unfortunately, the speaker fell over, and the AUX port was knocked into the speaker. Although this doesn’t affect the review rating, it did point out a slight bummer with this as well as other Alexa devices — they don’t connect to all Bluetooth devices.

Easy to use, doesn't take up alot of space, great for small spaces, and affordable for a quality tech toy!

Got this on sale and it works great. I have a lot of spare speakers laying around so it's good value for me to be able to add Alexa to a room and just plug in speakers, rather then spend more money on a Dot or something else even more expensive. My one complaint is that it doesn't support Drop In feature. So that actually is a pretty useful feature that I may consider switching this for a Echo Dot.

We have an Alexa echo upstairs and wanted one in the family room but we already had a sound system there. With the Alexa input we were able to get all the benefits of Alexa without having to buy another echo. Works great and sounds great!

The echo input is an excellent tool for all households. Age is not a barrier. The very young to 90 years plus. We use it for music, current events, history, weather, traffic, cooking recipes, reminders, stop watch, and many other activities. Have recommended to several friends and family.
