Works as you would expect an Alexa device to work. The sound is actually pretty good. I was surprised by the amount of bass this thing puts out. I would say that considering the price the sound quality plus the Alexa features is a pretty fair price. I use it in an open ceiling large living room and it is more than enough. I did notice some sound distortion at full volume but only when playing through my phone Bluetooth via Spotify. More than enough for having people over unless you’re trying to have a rave or don’t want to hear what anyone’s saying.

This speaker is amazing! I bought a pair of Echo 4th gen originally to pair with my fire tv cube but after I got them set up with an echo sub it was still lacking and aounded flat for my large living room. I returned them and got 2 echo studios and am absolutely blown away at the sound quality. I had a 1300 dollar LG surround aound system that quit working on me and was looking for a replacement and these honeslty sound better than my previous setup. Floor shaking bass, clear crisp dialogue, aurround sound and spatial audio. Its truly aamzing. I cannot believe the sound quality that comes from just 2 speakers and a sub. Highly reccomend. Also, you can't beat Alexa for smart home integration and these work perfect for controlling all your smart home devices as well.

This setup sounds amazing with clear sound and deep bass. I use this one in my bedroom, and even have it connect to my TV via Bluetooth for better sound. You’ll love it too.
