This little camera is great. Connection to my phone is easy however downloading the clips is a bit slow due to the high quality video. Crisp and clear, high frame rate, no lag, great detail. I would absolutely recommend Anker for electronics.

So I had a Rexing v1 plus and it was an awesome camera, but did not have WiFi, and gps built in, so I went and return it and got this one for the same price! I love it, the app is super easy to deal with, has WiFi to connect to your phone which is a must have, has a super AWESOME PARKING MODE SENSOR, so if someone hits and runs while your parked, boom, you got them! So far I love everything about it. The plastic doesn’t feel cheap, the 1440 video quality is amazing night and day, super easy menu, great speaker and mic, I will be buying another one for my wife’s car!

Got this because every day I drive there are idiots that think replying to a text or browsing the web is more important than making sure a 3 ton piece of machinery doesn't kill someone. The one advantage of the Anker unit is that you get to save ~$7 by not having to purchase an SD card. The included cable is about 10' and is microUSB. The were also kind enough to include a charge with two ports. A different model I bought had an all in one charger AND a proprietary connector. Video quality is pretty good, but don't let the 4k fool you. 4k is just a resolution. The bitrate is throttled to accommodate the extra pixels so there is no benefit for the higher resolution since there's isn't as much quality per pixel with the increase. 1080p is good enough. The only worry I have is that it has a battery. Battery+Heat is not a good mix. I take the unit down after parking so hopefully the car itself doesn't get hot enough to swell the battery and cause damage. Everyone needs a dashcam IMO. The Anker Roav, especially at a sale price, is pretty hard to beat. Only way would be to get one with a capacitor instead of a battery, which is what I'll do when this one dies.

I snagged this dash cam on sale after very extensive research on dash cams. It was slightly overwhelming trying to pick one out at the right price to do what I needed it to do. Mostly, I did not want to have to hard wire this to my car for parking mode. This dash cam has an internal battery to avoid the chaos of hard wiring. I did replace the 32gb with a 128gb because I noticed with the 32gb and loop recording, that 32gb is only good for keeping a date for maybe 5 days (that is at 1 min looping). The setup is very easy. Just download the app, format the sd card right in the dash cam, place it where you want it, and then you can configure all the settings on the app or on the dash cam itself. I set my parking mode to high and my driving mode to medium (it was at high, but then it locked so many videos thinking something had happened which I wanted to avoid). One thing that should be mentioned, you can only review the videos and change the settings while sitting in the car with the dash cam on with the internal wifi....you cannot watch the videos unless you are in the car with the dash cam's wifi on. Some people might find this annoying, but honestly it works for my purposes. I have merely made it a routine to check the videos as soon as I get home to see if any are locked. Locked videos means something happened which most of the time was just me closing and opening the door when parking mode was on (thank goodness)! Also, downloading and sharing videos works without a hitch, but again, you can only do that while your phone is connected to the dash cam's wifi. Parking mode works like a beast and I keep it set to high. Great camera, amazing picture, worth every penny whether you snag it on sale or not. And so far, it has held up in the humid, hot summer. If the summer brings bad news in terms of the stability of this dash cam, I will update my review. But so far, so good!

So far, I am happy with this dash cam. It has a slim design, nice picture quality, easy to adhere to your windshield and it tells you that it is recording. I also have a Rexing dash cam which does not have a good adhesive backing and keeps falling off and shutting off during driving for no apparent reason ( not good when you need it to work while you are driving). This Roav dash cam is also lightweight. It keeps working and I have not had any problems with the adhesive backing even during the hot weather. My only complaint is that they do appear not to sell a back up camera with this brand. Having been in an accident recently whereby I had my Rexing front and back cameras active - there were important actions that were recorded with the back-up camera that the front camera completely missed. This footage from the back-up camera was the main piece of my case , without it - I wouldn’t have been able to prove specifically where the other driver was and what their actions were ,right after the accident. This Roav dash cam would be a great set with the front and back cameras. Price point is average- with a good sale it was definitely worth it.
I had a nice detailed review, followed by the Best Buy app crashing. Anyways, this will now be a much shorter to the point review. Wonderful dash-can, high quality video. Love the WiFi, app is solid so far, and I really like having the added bonus of the GPS, and the speedometer. I highly recommend this dash-cam, will be purchasing a second for the back of my car!

I wanted a camera small enough to be not easily noticed. This camera is small, easy to set up and the menu easy to navigate, The power cord is long enough to be hidden in the molding. I like the two port charger adapter, so I have one available to charge another device. The app can be downloaded to your phone so you can change settings and access video. I am very pleased with the price, it has everything you could want to protect you from fraudulent accidents. Highly recommend!

Let’s start with the camera itself. You get everything you need to get it mounted and running in 5min flat. Simply put the mount on the camera, align it to where you want and stick. Put the included SD card it, plug it in and turn it on. I turned off the GPS, machine noise, and set the screen auto off to 30sec so that I am not distracted, I want a set it and forget it dash cam, this does just that. I opted to run the power cable behind the trim around my windshield which looks much better than leaving the cord running down my dash. The parking monitor is nice although a bit sensitive. I have it set to medium and it will start recording when I close the door on my Jeep. I will give low sensitivity a try and see how that works out. It’s small and hides behind my rearview mirror so that I cannot see it when driving. All in all, I am pleased with the device. Build quality seems nice, the screen is OK for manipulating the settings, and its easy enough to take off the mount should you need to do so. Now, onto the reason why I am giving it 3 stars – the app. I run an Android phone and Android does a nice job and identifying permissions that apps require. This app requires too much and CANNOT be used unless you grant all permissions. In order to use the app to update the camera, view footage, change settings, and download videos, you need to agree to all of the permissions. What does it want access to? Well it wants access to your contacts, location, phone info, storage, and requires a VPN connection be created. The ONLY permission that I would understand the app needing is the storage as it needs to save the video. But everything else is completely unnecessary. At this point, I refuse to use the app and will stick with pulling the SD card should I need to. I don’t understand why an app like this would need access to your contact, phone information, location and access to create a VPN connection. Typically, I don’t care about stuff like this, but the data grabbing that companies are doing these days is simply out of control. I have been a growing fan of ANKER, but this raises some questions for me…

Easy install, great clarity on video. Application for mobile isoutstanding. My rexing was returned because of SD issues. No problems with C1 Pro. Installed in 2017 Outback, w/eyesight. ;-)

This unit was easy install and the video quality is great. This is truly a "set it and forget it" type of device. You install the app on your phone and then you can access the videos without even touching the camera. It has the option to track GPS, vehicle speed and record in-cabin audio. All of these features can be disabled (which I personally did) as they seem a little too intrusive. However, they could be useful in certain applications.

This is the highest definition dash cam on the market, and video quality is excellent. Got this on sale and paid 2-year warranty. So far the camera operates as expected. I hope California Bay Area weather is not too hot for the dash cam to experience malfunction. I set for five minutes recording and medium sensitivity at parking mode.

I first bought a cheap Uniden model that broke after 3 days and after returning it decided to splurge a bit a get this. I’m glad I did. The video quality is excellent in 2k. It is easy to use and being able to control and view/save videos from the app is a huge bonus.

Great little dashcam, it's a pretty good size I don't even notice it when I am driving, plus the quality is great only wish you could see it in real time but seeing the recording from the app is good as well, will probably buy another one to put in the back window as well

Super easy to install and set up right out of the box. Great video quality, picture is very clear on playback. used on the Pa. Turnpike and was able to see all of the east and west bound lanes plus a good bit on either side. Great camera.

The design makes you forget it's even attached. The features are great and easy to use. Especially like the GPS and mph stamp. I did have trouble at the beginning always having to format the SD card but now it's a non issue.

The video quality is excellent. The functionality is excellent. Only downside is that the internal battery no longer holds a charge, since about 7-8 months in. Now grant it, I live in Texas and use a solar shade, so that may be exposing it to way to much heat. I recommend taking it off whenever its hot outside.

This dash cam is tiny but durable. It can withstand for high temperatures 90F and above on your windshield. It is easy to use and user friendly in general. The best thing I like is that the camera/video is clear and crisp especially at night. I would highly recommend this to you!

This is a very good product.I have been using it for almost a year now, and it has worked great so far. The best feature is the easy and hassle free installation, took about 15 minutes including adjusting the wires. The parking mode is also very good. Overall Im very satisfied with this product.

I loved the ease of use and quality of the videos, yet after 14 months the unit refuses to accept or format any new sd cards and I do not know of any workaround.
