I purchased an open box excellent 2025 ipad a16 as a gift for my nephew. The ipad works and looks great. Well, the charger that came along with the ipad did not fit at all!. It was a charger for the older ipad when it should’ve been a usb-c charger. I can’t use it for anything! I understand what open box is but at least give a charger that fits the item. If this was checked and inspected as it was supposed to be a correct charger would’ve been placed in the box. Whoever checked the box knew that was the wrong charger. After purchasing the ipad I still had to spend money for a charger for the ipad. That’s really upsetting. Thanks alot Best Buy! I’ll never buy open box again! Lesson learned! That’s why I gave two stars.

The iPad is a great device for a phone to be connected

I got one for a great price, and returned it because of a problem. When you pinch to zoom, or use an Apple Pencil with any pressure, a black swirly dot appears. It’s because the display is a thin layer of unsupported glass that flexes in the middle like a trampoline. I got the same one in a different color. It has the same issue, so that tells me they all have it. Plus I read online and others have the same problem. Also it heats up a lot, and the sound isn’t great at all. Other than that I like apple products and iPads a lot. I’m forced to return and upgrade.

I bought two of the exact same iPads, both being open box items said to be in 'Excellent Condition'. One was great and all was good. The second one was dirty along with a couple of scratches on the back and one on the screen AND it came with the wrong cord. I received a cord for older models and not the USB-C that is required. Call costumer service and they said I had to take it in to the store which I still haven't had time to do. Very frustrating.

The purchase was easy but the seller never specified on details on how the iPad has details on how WiFi can’t be connected the I pad to have a cellular data feature and there wasn’t one easy to purchase I had to go to 3 distant stores to look for one . So disappointed in the information that’s was not given .

The first one i bought had issues. To swipe was impossible as it lagged to non existing and the battery drained in 8 hours. My ipad 5th gen still lasts 3 days on 1 charge and its 8 years old. So i exchanged it for the same model and that was so much better! It worked exactly like i was expecting it to.

Works great for everyday use for my 8 year old & I. I even gotten a keyboard for work and it's the best thing I did. Only thing is the screen cracked in the inside 2 days later no drop no damage just random damage. Other than that it's great for the whole family.

ordered the ipad for delivery 2 days later. found out on my own (no direct notification) that my ipad was sent back, apparently due to damage. no replacement was scheduled. took alot to figure out what happened. then found out no replacement would be sent. i had to order another one. i ordered elsewhere and got it delivered same day with no problem. then it took 2 weeks for credit to be put thru to my credit card. too long. all along the way, the chat feature was useless to determine status of things. very disappointing experience.

The first I pad I received wouldn't charge. I returned it to the store and it was very difficult to connect to WI FI and get it to hold a charge..

Login has multiple issues. Using a numeric login works only when online. If offline, it requires my password for Microsoft, when I’m not even into an app of any kind, which makes NO sense. This computer seems programmed to work online, which makes me wonder, why? Shouldn’t we be able to work in spreadsheets and financials without being online?

We got the iPad and it wouldn’t get past the introduction. It kept restarting. I called apple and was on the phone for two hours trying to figure out the issue. It was eventually resolved. The iPad works but the software is glitchy at times. Not loving the new product. No fault of Best Buy though.

I miss the Home button and hate using the finger print on the side when there is a cover on the tablet. Makes it almost impossible with long nails. The app switcher usually takes a few tries until the tablet complies.

I recieved it and a month later, it stopped working. Screen wont stay on. I took it to get it fixed and the guy said it would be cheaper to just buy a new ipad.

the sales people were ok But we got a bad one that didnt work and took it back and the service was terrible not friendly at all mean and moody and took 3 hours till they finally said it was bad we sat there 3 hours service was terrible new one works so far but dont buy from best buy in Bismarck nd

iPad is great BUT Best Buy charged me twice for the SINGULAR item i bought and got an attitude with me and said there’s really nothing they can do. When the girl went to refund me for the extra charge that came out of my account ( same exact price as the iPad ) she tried to keep the iPad i bought and i had to fight her on that saying she wasn’t keeping the iPad and i just need my money back for the second charge. do NOT buy off of Best Buys website!!

This is an iPad that was designed to basically make you purchase the next one up and Apple does not care about sales but just designed like other lower models to move up to the supposedly good Apple Intelligence, which in my opinion this is OK quality not great for other people who do not know how to use the AI which you know isn’t always something I would normally buy but you know I bought one for my girlfriend. I don't love the new touch access - in the corner, vs being a center button - but it works alright

It arrived via the mail in good shape. Highly recommend the open box best buy deals

First one broke and it seems cheap! We will see how it holds up with my daughter who is 10.
