My 2012 iPad Mini was slowing down, most especially with any internet type connection. My wife bought me this new iPad Mini for Christmas. The first one was junk and had to be returned. The second fired up just fine. The battery life on my old iPad is as good with its original battery as the new iPad is, which is rather disappointing since the old iPad’s battery is eight years old compared to brand new. The screen is more vivid, but hardly enough to buy a new unit. The internet connection is much better, over the same router, which should not be and doesn’t really make sense other than Apple is messing with the OS. The camera is better, but I almost never use my iPad’s camera. The best part of the upgrade is the charger has more apps, and hopefully the battery will last longer. I just wish Apple would not program problems into older products to force people to buy new products.

My wife and I fell in love with the iPad mini when we both each first got one three years ago. I mostly use mine in the evening or at bedtime but my wife uses hers for many hours each day -- which is probably why hers just suddenly died. Without hope of a repair, we purchased this replacement. It's the perfect daily companion for reading news, watching movies and programs, playing games, exchanging emails and messages and much more. When mine eventually goes, I'm sure we'll get another.

Love it for reading, web browsing, and playing games. I use it mostly for aviation and it’s the perfect size to use in the cockpit. Snappy performance and good battery life. The Apple Pencil support and the crisp display are great and the anti reflective coating is a plus.

I originally bought this to use with my drone.(DJI Mavick 2) I have found many other uses for it as well. This is my first Apple product. I am impressed with the speed and battery life.
