Let me start by saying I've never owned an iPad before. However, I've had several Apple computers and almost every iPhone since the first one launched in 2008. The iPad Mini is undeniably stunning—when I see someone else holding it. But when it’s in my own hands, it feels awkward. Sure, it technically fits into my pockets, but even that’s awkward. It can do many things an iPhone can do, yet the experience remains... awkward. The device is supposed to leverage Apple’s advanced intelligence features, but even with ChatGPT integration, it feels clumsier than a box of Siris. I love the concept of the iPad Mini, and I can see how it might be useful for those with a specific need for this form factor. However, only a few days in, I find myself ready to trade it in for a MacBook. What I really want is a touchscreen MacBook with a detachable keyboard. But, hey—that’s just me.

Great for on the go. Was a great piece for in and out of surgery because fit in my back pocket. Apple does this thing a disservice by not upgrading the display, though. Compared to my 13” air, there is a noticeable difference in picture quality. It has the chip to run a much better display.

It’s an iPad so not much has changed. But if you’re looking for something in a smaller form favor this is the way to go. Unfortunately Apple isn’t I. The innovation business anymore so expect a copy and past situation here like every year.

I purchased this item specifically for travel as it weighs about half of my regular IPAD. I cleaned the screen with an alcohol wipe and it appears that some may have seemed under the glass so I now have a large spot in the upper right corner that will not dry up! This is my last IPAD MINI!!

I like it for what I need when I’m on the road and it doesn’t take much room

I’m sure this product is wonderful when everything on it works correctly. I set up my mini iPad to coincide with my iPhone and my regular iPad and my Mac. then I realized that the volume buttons didn’t work. I should’ve taken it back, but I didn’t. I did not want to have to go through setting everything up again That’s why I gave it three stars because of the volume buttons worked it’d be wonderful! So before you set yours up, make sure that everything works!

I bought this mini for my wife, who has been hospitalized for a month after a spectacular fall so she can keep in touch with family and friends and listen to ebooks. It works wonderfully well.

It’s been a while since my family has had an iPad, the functionality seems a bit more complicated than a few years ago. Over all, a nice device, and serves its purpose.

I got this for retro gaming, felt a great size but 60HZ screen in 2025 is really bad. Now, I don't know how it will be, if they got OLED screen. But, nice carry on device.

Loved the performance but just a tad bit small for the “older” eyes.

It’s a nice item but nowhere near worth the price! It’s worth half of what they are charging everywhere. It’s too dim also. Not enough nits

Its a great product with great color displays. It has been able to execute 88% of my tasking. I just dont use it as much as I thought I might.

We purchased an iPad mini and were told if we signed up for a membership for $50, they would transfer the data from the older iPad. When I came in after the mini arrived, the Geek Squad guy said, no they didn’t do that. He had no idea why the salesman said that. Thankfully, he refunded the $50 and told me how to transfer the info. I was able to do so. Why are your salesmen lying?

The ipad mini is the perfect size but it could be better spec’d. There’s not much difference between this “updated” version compared to the last model. I’d pay a premium for a pro version.

Sometimes the expansion button doesnt expand the apps all the way as they should like the regular size ipads.

Mini iPad works as expected, but is hard to hold/easy to drop. I used packing tape to create loops to help grip it. Another negative is that the charging plug is different from my previous iPad’s plug, which also worked for my iPhone. So now I have three different charging cords for iPad, iPhone and MacBook.

bulkier than previous models and edge finger print capture is less reliable than home key version.
