Needed a laptop for my son as he was using a HP with windows vista. Decided to go with MACBOOK Air as it was light weight and also had the i7 intel chip, sufficient memeory, and a good size hard drive. Price was also very good at the time. It was on sale and also had student discount. It appears to be a very good choice so far.

Light weight, powerful and will enjoy having the extra memory. Apple has won me over from the PC.

As expected, Apple makes the best products with an Operating system that is easy to use and doesn't spy on me and send all my data back to Microsoft. Sorry Win-10 but I can trust Apple. Its well worth getting the extra RAM up front for $100 more. The i7 is great if you want your air to be more like a Macbook pro at lighter weight but not a necessary for most users. In a pinch, I can still run windows using bootcamp. Performance and battery life is the best of any notebook I have ever had. Now my iPhone, iPad and Macbook are all synced with the same data. Love it!

This laptop is solid. Super fast HD, nice RAM, and the I7 is zippy. I tried to love it but in the end I found the keyboard to be a little shallow on the travel and the screen was just not good enough to justify the price. I ended up exchanging for the Pro and am much happier. If battery life and power are key then this is perfect. It just didn't suit my needs but it is all personal preference.

It is very fast, and responsive, i7 and 512 MB, very excellent. I don't know if there is going to be 1TB macbook air yet. Not a retina display though. It hasn't slowed down or crashed on me. The only thing that bothered me is the covering plastic case that I paid $ 50 cracked within 3-4 days after taking time to put on the macbook air.

Bought this machine to review and edit some 4k videos, nothing fancy just needing to play back the videos. the macbook is super snappy and fast, overall great combination of ram/cpu and flash storage.

Picked this up during the 4 hour sale received on my email. Note book is very slim, lightweight and fast. Surprised to find no Ethernet port. Very satisfied as this is my first Mac.

Immediately boots up. Never shuts down. Never get corrupted. NEVER breaks. If you are reading reviews to decide if to buy apple or not, then just look at all the five star reviews and realize there is no reason not to.

Before purchasing the MacBook Air, I had done extensive research to make sure if this would fit my needs. The major deciding factors for me were it's amazing battery life and how light weight the product is. The MacBook Air is practically perfect other than the price being a little steep and the keyboard takes a little time to get used to (especially with long nails). The trackpad is pretty responsive and the speakers are not bad for a laptop. This being my first Mac, the transition from Windows was not as horrible as I thought. I had this for a couple months now and I was able to figure most settings, shortcuts, etc. on my own. If I had an issue, I just google or YouTube my issues or "how-to" questions. I also, LOVE the idea that Apple Stores also provide workshops to help you learn more about your MacBook and get the most out of this amazing product (which I plan to utilize in the near future).

I had a MacBook Pro 2012 model and loved it. Decided it was time to get a new one so I gave the old one to my other half and bought this model. I absolutely love it it. The fast boot time, battery life is great, and the size is perfect.

This is my second Mac. I had a MacBook Pro before, and this Air is even better. Lighter, but quick speeds for processing. A great purchase!

The 8GB MacBook Air is FABULOUS! IT IS LIGHT WEIGHT! I have over the years, purchased the regular laptops available in the big box stores....they burn out every 5 years or so. Everyone I spoke to has had their MacBook for 10 years + . Definitely worth the extra $$.

I love this MacBook Air 13" it is very lite and very fast. I was shopping for sometime now to replace my old MacBook Pro (8years old) which by the way still works great but very heavy to carry around all day and because I travel a lot this MacBook Air 13" was the one that did it. I strongly recommend this laptop!!!!!
