I upgraded to the MacBook Pro with the M4 Max after using an M1 Pro for the last couple of years, and the difference is honestly bigger than I expected. The M1 Pro was already a great machine and handled almost everything I threw at it, so I wasn’t sure how noticeable the jump would be. But from the first day with the M4 Max, it was clear that this is a whole new level. Everything just feels faster and smoother. Apps open instantly, heavy projects render much quicker, and multitasking is effortless. I work with video editing, design, and a lot of browser tabs at the same time, and this laptop doesn’t even break a sweat. What used to take a few minutes on my old machine now happens in seconds. The extra power is really obvious when exporting large files or working with demanding software.

Is it possible to fall in love with an inanimate object? Yes, so much so, I have named it! I cannot believe how lightning fast this little beast is. I also cannot believe how long I have dealt with my poky slow MacBook from 2012. It was agonizing and probably the reason my BP was through the roof haha. This new baby is not just good looking, it weighs probably half of what my relic does, it's sleek and again, so fast! Oh and the audio..... I studied audio engineering and have very fussy & sensitive ears and this baby has such a deep bass, the audio is crystal clear compared to my oldie. I am listening to Susanne Sundfør sing "Mountaineers" and it sounds sick, even my cat just awoke to see what was happening hahaha

Obsessed with this Mac. The performance jump is super noticeable, especially for editing, design, and anything demanding. It’s also surprisingly quiet and stays cool, which I love. The display is great, battery life is way better than I expected, and overall it just feels powerful and polished. Definitely an investment, but 100% worth it if you want top-tier performance. Couldn’t be happier!

Great build Quality lightning fast no issues editing in lightroom or making music in studio one battery last long never here the fans or feel any heat . Im not running llms or trying to push the laptop to death lol its perfect for what i do and will be for the next 5 years .

Great build quality - as you would expect from Apple. Performance wise, it was a great update from the M1 Pro processor. Would recommend the upgrade from an M1 Pro. Seems to run twice as fast. Love the Matt black finish. Easier to keep clean than the brushed stainless I had on my old MacBook Pro.

This laptop is a beast! I have a double monitor setup with my laptop in the middle, so I’m working off 3 screens at a time. Plus, I work with AI everyday and I’m constantly editing videos, so I wanted a big processor that wouldn’t start lagging from the heavy work load and I found it!

This laptop is just so fast, so quiet and so cool. Thought it would have thermal throttle issues but I’ve not seen any after opening a gazillion tabs and applications at the same time. The fans don’t even turn on. It also just feels better to use and carry it around everywhere instead of the 16inch. Huge recommendations for this years M4 max chips!

Can't do better than this new MacBook Pro M4 from Apple. It's my first Mac OS based laptop or computer in nearly 10 years and I can't believe how awesome and polished the look and feel of this Macbook is. Incredible performance. THE Fastest CPU on the market and a great GPU. Perfect for video and audio editing with the dual encoders. Excellent experience through BestBuy. I traded up for this MacBook Pro M4 Max over a couple of weeks as I climbed up the models before finally deciding on the full, un-binned MAX. Can't believe how powerful this device is. One of my favorite things about this model is the 14-inch size. It’s the perfect balance between power and portability. I’m not always working at a desk, so having something this powerful in a more compact form factor is a huge win. Personally, I find the 16-inch too big and heavy to carry around comfortably. Overall, I absolutely love it. If you need serious performance in a portable package, this is a fantastic choice.
